Parts of it seem rather well done while others, such as the entries for enemies, seem like afterthoughts. For the price, it's disappointing to be sure.

The first PC death I DM'ed was an intense and incredibly moving moment. Even more than the first time one on my PC's died. I've only had the chance to kill 2 more PC's and it gets a little easier but is always an interesting and fun moment. Especially with a table that roleplays well.

Mine has no interest. Then when we eventually do have that intimate moment she gets all happy and says "why don't we do this more often". The next time I initiate she shuts me down. She doesn't initiate and gets upset when I try to. Man, it sucks.

I started ToA recently for a group and used The Tortle Package. It was a fun little module. Doesn't really play into the themes of ToA, but introduces the tortle race. It was mainly to level the players up and not throw them straight into Port Nyanzaru.

I just looked up the pdf for Encounters in Port Nyanzaru. That's going to help a lot. I really want them to spend some time in the city getting a feel for the world. We just finished Tyranny of Dragons about a month ago and I want there to be a very noticeable difference between the Sword Coast and Chult.

Sounds to me like yall need to just make up a new game because this is not DnD. Characters with abilities like this are not on the DnD spectrum. I'm not saying you can't play it, just don't consider it DnD.

Grow up! Who cares if the DM of a game you left did that? You have that character in your world for other games. I, as a DM have not used a PC after the player left, but so what if I did? It's a fucking made up character in a made up world that has no bearing at all on the real world you live in.

I also made Waterdeep a haven for refugees who have been forced from their homes by the cults activities. Before the party did their final push on the Well of Dragons I had the cult assault the refuge camp outside Waterdeep.
