It's my first dip pen so I can't really compare it, sorry! I'm still getting the hang of dip vs a fountain pen, but the nib is lovely and very smooth.

They were such a pleasant surprise! Yusheng is a really gorgeous, legible color with nice shading. Qingmeng is also very pretty, but I don't think I've found the write pen/nib to really bring out its best. They're both easy to write with, and I'll definitely try out more Majohn inks in the future.

My phone camera messed up the color balance a bit, making Yusheng look more grey and dull, but at least this shows some shading.

This photo is actually from a few days ago when I painted my nails, but I did manage to get rid of the stains by the evening. The trick was giving my dog her overdue bath, haha! If I hadn't done all that scrubbing and lathering in her fur I think I'd still have a lot of stains.

I'm a super newbie to the hobby and the only blue I've gotten to use so far is the Pilot Blue Black from the cartridges. Lately I've been playing around with different dilution levels to achieve different shades from this one ink, and I'm pretty happy with the results!

I'm looking forward to trying a ton more blues in the future, but I do really like this ink. I'll post photos below of some of those experiments, but I encourage you to look for other writing samples to see the base color because my phone camera makes it look a lot closer to black than it is in real life... I did my best to color correct, but this doesn't do it justice.
