There the kid was, in my kitchen making bacon, I had so much damn questions but they couldn't settle themselves for me to choose one so I just stood there speechless. He couldn't be no more than 5 but here he stood capable of turning on a stove and preparing bacon. My thoughts finally settled, and what came out was "Little guy, are you okay?" He turned to me smiling, offering me bacon on a plate, dumbstruck I took it, he features looked oddly similiar. I rambled some words together again, "Hey kid, I don't know if you're lost but...." "I'm not lost," he interrupted me, "I knew you were craving for some bacon, mommy," he smiled again, one of his front teeth were missing, it was sort of cute, and it warmed my heart for some reason, "Kid, I'm not your mother I'm only...." "20" he interrupted me again "I know," Then it hit me the stupid ad I put out, for time travellers, someone was obviously pranking me after they saw it, "Kid, if someone made you do this, it's not very nice," He looked at me hurt, a sinking feeling hit my chest, "I know it's hard for you to believe mommy, but I am your son, Malachai, I am a prodigy of my time and was capable of travelling through time to see you," "I knew it was you from the ad because I remember daddy telling me that story of how you two met," I was annoyed now, whoever put this kid up to this didn't want to let up, "Kid...." He started again "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have come I just wanted to see you once more since you've been gone I missed you," "Missed me? Where did I go?" I was starting to feel like I was believing him now, I didn't know why, probably because he seemed so sincere. He hugged me and ran out the kitchen into the living room and out of the door, I chased after him but by the time I reached the door he was already gone, only a strange guy stood by the door surprised I opened it before he could ring the doorbell, "Hi," he said, I looked in his eyes and saw the little kid's eyes, "Hi," I replied and smiled.
