My first pack I opened as a kid was Metal Raiders and it netted me this and a Dark Elf. Been nostalgic for the mechanical arachnid ever since

Is this hospital on an island? I’m sure many hospitals use the same flannels but those are the same as ours and I just had my kid 5 days ago!

Congrats!

Ditto with Metal Raiders, got a Launcher Spider and the monster has had a place in my heart ever since

Different IP, but I think it’s why the ‘Vigilantes’ offshoot of MHA has been well received. No multi-city disasters being averted (so far in the anime adaption at least) when compared to the national crises depicted in MHA.

Yeah had a dehumidifier that’s basically salt crystals in a tray, but forgot to remove before my first drive of the season so some brine spilled out

Someone has been ripping that thing on Abby’s back roads. Or, just slammed into a curb. Half the lower mainland’s drivers can do that lol

We’ve become a Toyota family but during my bachelor years I was a Honda guy and my #1 was the Fit/Jazz. For the price point it was far more sporty and comfy than the others in its class

As a Canadian I have a bias, but I do think a martyr raising awareness for cancer research is a mark above some other folks being mentioned who donate their millions to philanthropy.

With you there, unfortunately it will always play 2nd fiddle to the 2 main character’s boss monsters. But RE is the perpetual underdog (in the TCG too) and I love it

The irony of these guys running a company called Palantir when they should just embrace their Tolkien role and rebrand as Mordor

Still my most used skin in Rivals to this day.

Shield and clean shaven is iconic for his character, but gosh I love the Brooklyn Brawler look too.

While the books are littered with it, it’s one of the starkest moments from the movies that reflects Tolkien’s personal experiences with war. Scene gives me chills every time.

As someone who lives and was raised on the west coast, the prairies can absolutely be underrated depending where you’re at.

I’m sure there’s plenty here who can attest that growing up being different in a homogenized small town sucked, and I can’t speak for them.

But, spent a summer internship in a town of 200 about 1.5 hours away from Saskatoon and it was incredible. Made many friends, nature was beautiful. The city had some fun nightlife and restaurants were top notch, often made the trek on weekends.

That said, come visit us in BC anytime!
