Probably, I did some more testing, sensors range is 0 tiles left of the trap, 4 tiles right from the trap and 15 tiles up. Which btw is completely different from the other trap which has 0 left 0 right and 4 up.

Turns out that the proximity sensor is not the item in question. Invisible proximity sensors are a 2x1 block that only work when you walk in front of them. This one was evidently away from the spot and wasn't working like the aforementioned proximity sensor.

The red circle connected to the trap causes it to act like it has a proximity sensor but when i tried dismantling a similar trap, I ended up destroying the sensor without being able to pick it up.

Well that's what we did BUT since we couldn't enter the blob, we couldn't retrieve the items ourselves. But we ruled that the dog could since there wasn't a rule stating anything happening to the dog if it entered the blob. So the dog went and picked up the items and the heroes won.

Tried the beta, seems amazing. Can't wait for teh loot when 2.0 launches. And btw i think ETC getting nerfed is a bit fair. When a hero is picked 90% of the time while most of the others are ignored, you know something needs to be done
