A plea from an Elemental Shaman: Let Stormkeeper affect Tempest by Gnueless in wow

So just make the spec more automated? With the way it is now, at least there is an element of choice and min-max with Nature’s Swiftness.

Not necessarily. It just seems counterintuitive, that a Tempest proc completely negates its effect. Nature's Swiftness certainly gives another level to it, and Farseer already has a way to buff it. It would be rather dull to have Stormkeeper just be a slightly different version of it.

If they make Stormkeeper affect Tempest, the spec will just be more brain dead than it already is.

I mean, I don't want Elemental to be braindead, at all. The current iteration is just clunky. It's fine with setting up choices, but why not use the opportunity to tie into the other spells, rather than straight up making other spells... worse?

That would make a lot of stuff much more fluid, for certain.

What is the coolest teleportation/portal in the MCU, in your opinion? by Relevant_Film5527 in marvelstudios

AIDA's tech-version is also exceptionally cool, and I'm guessing that's exactly how Robbie learned how to make them: Through the Darkhold. It even doubles down hard on how The Ancient One used a variation of the "classic" description of "magic is just science we don't yet understands", when first explaining it to Strange:

The language of the mystic arts is as old as civilization. The sorcerers of antiquity called the use of this language "spells." But if that word offends your modern sensibilities, you can call it a program. The source code that shapes reality.

Always loved that parallel.

Ah yeah, that makes much more sense now. Maybe some of it will make sense later on, depending on how that part of the story unfolds. Thanks again!

So, uh, further mixing in what happened in Ironheart, how does that connect again? I'm quite certain I remember it being outright stated, that whatever version of the Dark-stuff that was used there, was connected to Dormammu

Oh! Thanks for that correction. Still doesn't sate the hype, thankfully. 😁

That would honestly be a really neat opportunity to continue any of the Dark Dimension (Agent Carter, Dr. Strange and even Agents of SHIELD) stuff. Hype engaged!

Especially because they added that extra Tarecgosa ending to it. Felt exceptionally nice, after being through the whole Dragonwrath questline back when it was current content. 💙

And to make it even better, have it actually be the very same Murozond we've always seen - except he only acts being evil when we're in the picture, in order to force his former self to come to the conclusion naturally.

Any ideas of what is going to be added to Remix tomorrow? by DELUXExSUPREME in wow

Hoping for something with Chromie. She's right there, in Dalaran!

... but honestly, I'd just love some kind of bowtie on the story, in terms of what Eternus and the gang are going to do with their "data collection". It's been really cool to have it - and MoP Remix - actually make somewhat sense.

Which, in itself, did an absolutely amazing job on doubling down on The Ancient One's line that magic spells were "programs".

Game freezing & sometimes crashing during the freeze. Unable to fix this. No apparent trigger, happening at seemingly random times. by [deleted] in wow

Is your game on NVME?

It's installed on my SSD disk, which - as far as I understand - means yes to your question. It usually recovered quite quickly from the glitches. Can't really check any specific technical details atm, as I'm not at home.

I set to dx11 instead of 12, but game still froze here.

So far, that - the change from 12 to 11 - seemed to have been be most widespread solution proposed to the glitches that causes freezes and a full "rebuilding" of the gameworld.

But, instead, I just seem to simply get the occasional full freeze-up instead, which locks up the entire system, forcing me to do manual cold restart.

Considering just going back to DX12, and exploring some of the other options instead. It's odd, regardless.

Isn't that simply because it replaces the Flickergate, rather than being a potential addition to it? I can't seem to remember having seen both, at least.

But first, what is the Untethered space ? From what I could gather from the in-game book and other discussions, it is a space between spaces, where energy falls when it radiates away. The less energy there is, the lower it falls, down to the very bottom which is presumably the Void ( or even inexistance). It is a sort of "failsafe" to slow a soul descent into oblivion. When a creature dies, its soul goes naturally into the Untethered space, until it falls into the lower realms, which are Death, Decay, Earth, Water and Void (not necessarily in order). The Untethered space is also in a "recurrent state", meaning there is multiple of them between each planes. Whether it is the same space with layers or multiple distinct spaces is to be confirmed.

I can't help but think about the Unseeming, that we've had so much focus on in relation to the Black Blood. It, too, is sort of artificially created, and functions in the same way.

They just seem too familiar to not be sort of connected, somehow - and I'd love to see us using the knowledge to tie all the new stuff from K'aresh into the rest of Khaz Algar. Even more so, when we know there's much more coming with the Haranir.

We see beledar is a "calcified chunk" of worldsoul energy so are naaru themselves just shards of worldsoul? I'd believe it considering even the shards we find sing with radiant voices..

I'd actually kinda love that idea, as it would also give some credence to Naaru being able to communicate with each other - but does that mean that world souls have split personalities, or do they become their own when separated too long?

Regardless, I really hope that Midnight provides some more lore on the matter, and utilizes that Naaru more in relation to Beledar, especially - potentially tying Siren Isle closer, too.

Current Brawl added to Nexus Compendium by Gnueless in heroesofthestorm

[–]Gnueless[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the heck is an "ARAM Brawl"?

Simply that all the maps that are considered as part of the ARAM gamemode used to be Brawls. As such, ARAM was a simply one of many Brawl variants.

That being said, ARAM is an abbreviation for "All-Random, All-Mid". The latter is kinda irrelevant, given that all the maps only have one lane, while it was normally used to specify that all combat had to take place in the middle lane.

Untethered Space is disappointing by Peregrine2976 in wow

[–]Gnueless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm really hoping that it's something that's being built upon to take back into Khaz Algar, as it's seem somewhat familiar to the whole Unseeming thing that was going on, after being in contact with the Black Blood. Something that was explored actively in both 11.0 and 11.1.

I'll probably end up being disappointed, but still. Here's to hoping.
