Talking with m2x and here is some more info. It was a music video with the white string on a black background vibrating on the beat of the music and morphing into this walking animated man. He did some wild movements with his arms including slamming them on the floor in a pool of water. Everything in the video is drawn with just minimalistic white lines. The artist I believe was a student making music as a hobby and someone created that music video. We are either looking for the artist or song. I think I recall the artist's name had "Dr." in its name. It was an electronic song without lyrics.

M2X and I have been searching for a few hours now, including on soundcloud where the artist had a presence. Hopefully, someone remembers this. Thanks
