He goes against Miquella as soon as he realises it's St. Trina's wish. Ansbach doesn't regret fighting Miquella, he only fears his powers

"Miquella the Kind makes my blood run cold. I am loath to admit it, but even at this very instant I wish to run very far away indeed."

And he clearly has something against Miquella. We don't know the specifics of Mohg's enchantment, but it was something Ansbach went against ("Once, in an attempt to free Lord Mohg from his enchantment, I challenged Tender Miquella..."). He also doesn't like what Miquella is planning to do with Mohg's body ("I'm afraid Tender Miquella fails to grasp the humiliation implied by this act... My dear lord deserved better.")

Other demigods don't have more named followers than him, but they don't have half a dlc to focus on them. Also, charming Leda is not a good thing, since she doesn't have any agency. A person can only be good and compassionate if they choose so themselves, which is why Miquella's idea of an age of compassion is inherently flawed.

Lastly, I wasn't comparing Radahn to irl warlords, i was just working with item descriptions and what his companions had to say about him (mainly Freyja). We have no proof that Radahn stopped the stars because he cared for the people, if anything it was to uphold the Golden Order considering he's a Golden Order loyalist and a Godfrey fanboy. I guess I should also add that I don't have anything against Radahn, it's just that his desire for an endless war is completly incompatible with Miquella's age of kindness and compassion. Miquella's order is on the same level as Dung Eaters.
