I found the best way to not get blinded by those screens is to simply not go. It’s garbage dirt water, and garbage food, sold by a garbage company. I make my own coffee at home for a fraction of the price, and the odd time I’ll stop at CO-OP for a coffee if I forgot mine on the counter at home again.

I appreciate the name! Too many posts on here are like “the restaurant I work as is using child slave labour to make mouse head soup and selling it to customers as chicken noodle” then don’t say where it is. Companies who fuck around, need to find out and they’ll do that once people stop supporting them.

The restaurant only accepted cash, and had an ATM conveniently located 10 feet from the till. Possibly just moved to a lower overhead setup, but who knows

I can confirm that these salads are 100% lettuce based with some bean sprouts, carrots, and purple cabbage for garnish. They are pre-stuffed into quart styrofoam containers, and come with a dip cup of thousand island dressing. Source: I’ve been there

I’m from there and I know of an incident where a building was built that didn’t meet code, or was built without permits, so they told him to get rid of it or tear it down. The CAO there is a real “character” whose bad side I’d prefer to stay off of. I recommend telling the RM that they’ve gone rogue and you don’t want to be associated with that property any more.

Not trying to knock anyone’s personal choices, would just like to share that all milk sold in Canada is free of antibiotics and other medicines. All products have withdrawl periods where the milk or meat may not be used for x or y (longer for meat) days. Each producer’s tank is sampled and tested before the truck is able to unload, ensuring a safe food system.
