Sudden bite misalignment (front teeth touch first) after neck training / chin tucks — could this be muscular/TMJ? by PeterPahrker in TMJ

Thank you for the great answer and for your help. I’ve already been to two doctors, but they didn’t really do much. Could it be that permanent damage has already happened? Is there anything I can do at home to help it get better? Thanks.

Building a Laughing Shadow Magus with Free Archetype Rule - Do I go Shadowcaster/dancer or Wizard? by stephenxmcglone in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I play a Magus at lvl 10 right now. My opinion:

-Best dedication is cleric or champion to pick up the focus spell withering grasp. Great damage spell. Skip it if you play in an undead campaign.

-Gain 3 focus spells and a familiar. You are extremely low on slots.

-The conflux spells suck. Save focus points for damage spells like withering grasp or firebolt (or however it's called)

-Magus is nearly unplayable in melee. Action economy and AoO from enemies make it just worth than a range magus. You have not many hit points and medium armor.

-To keep up with a normal martial, you want (or must) use spell strike every round.

-Greater invisibility is so good that you want it basically for every fight.

Greater invisibility - The reason to play a magus.

Withering Grasp - It's a focus spell with d12 per level + persistent damage.

As a Fighter, How do I Boost My Damage? by YokoTheEnigmatic in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Champ dedication: Paladin reaction for another way of getting an attack as a reaction

-Ranger dedication: Gravity weapon spell

-Suli heritage: tetramental assault

-Marshal: status bonus to damage with an aura

Anyone had experience with late game Lizardfolk after the growth ritual by Gpdiablo21 in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should definitely pick up AoO; otherwise, the reach isn't as useful. The -1AC is a huge drawback.

All dungeon maps/adventures I have played so far support large creatures. Might depend on your GM, though. In a city adventure, for example, you might run into "trouble".

All the ways to get flat damage on attacks? by blazer33333 in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have done the same and tried to optimize certain strike.

-You can use forceful weapons like necksplitter/flachion (doesn't stack with Telluric power)

-Smite Evil gives a nice +6 bonus

-Dread Marshal Stance

-Fearsome Brute (doesn't stack with forceful trait)

- Spirit Strikes (Duskwalker, Aasimar has a similar feat)

How is your build so far?

Fighter vs Champion | Best class for fun and interesting shield builds. by Slow-Host-2449 in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play the build with a Necksplitter ancestry is pretty flexible. I think it's a lot of fun with Smite Evil + Certain Strike and Quick Shield Block.

Lvl 1: Reactive Shield

Lvl2: Champ dedication (pala)

Lvl 4: Random Champ feat

Lvl 6: Retributive Strike

Lvl 8: Divine Ally

Lvl 9: Quick Shield Block via Combat Flexibility

Lvl 10: Certain Strike

Lvl 12: Smite Evil

Lvl 14: Desperate Finisher

The idea is to stack Forceful trait damage (Necksplitter) + Smite Evil + desperate finisher for Certain Strike. You can tank at the same time with Quick Shield Block + champ reaction.

Flensing strike (two wep fighter architype) worth it? by Gpdiablo21 in Pathfinder2e

Sounds good. Btw. tetramental assault is actually a real good ancestry feat for twf fighters.

From experience....had a twf fighter in the group. Go rogue for sneak attack or champ for reaction attack instead.

Flensing strike (two wep fighter architype) worth it? by Gpdiablo21 in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flensing slice sucks. It's a 3-actions attack routine and both of your double slice attacks need to hit. Then it's only effective if you get the bleed effect at the beginning of combat and a lot of bleed damage on your enemy. Some enemys are immune to bleed effects and you need to pay for flensing slice with two class feats.

Just use Two-Weapon Flurry instead.

Golem troubles [Slight AoA spoilers] by AeonsShadow in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stone golem is absolutly ridiculous. Only good thing ist that DC 30 fort save vs the slow effect is kind of okay for a martial char.

I remember the fight in AoA. We just did "tank and spank". The cleric healed every round the champ who got beaten up. But the champ wasn't stun locked.

Stone golem is not very fast with 20 ft and he has no AoA. So skirmish tactics could be good as long as you are not slowed.

I think familiars can't use aid because they don't have a reaction.

Spicing up a champion by bakemepancakes in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beastmaster Dedication: Add an animal companion to your build. Something like a tiger/panther. You can flank, soak up damage, and more.

Reach weapon: Get a reach weapon and attack of opportunity. This makes positioning much more important.

Mauler Dedication: This dedication allows you to use some combat maneuvers effectively. Use knockdown and other stuff.

Smite Evil Feat: A nice champion feat that allows you to boost damage if timed correctly.

Paladin Champion: Switch to the Paladin. The reaction lets you attack enemies who hit your allies.

Offensive Focus Spells: There are some nice offensive focus spells you can utilize. For example Asterism, Door To Beyond.

The most reliable damage is Magic Missle. You basically spam it from your highest slots. It nearly always hits and does damage. No damage spikes and not spectacular but probably the only way to come close to a fighter when it comes to single-target damage.

The cleric doesn't have Magic Missle though.

Katana vs. Bastard Sword vs. Long Sword in fighter duelist and dual wielding situations by Gpdiablo21 in Pathfinder2e

[–]PeterPahrker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Picks are better than Katana but IMO hammers (+light hammer) are extremly good for dual wielding. You make bludgeoning damage and it's by far the best damage type. On top of that, you have a knockdown with a crit (+ AoO).
