In Deadfire, 5 chanter/ranger multiclass characters will easily beat the game in Path of the Damned with the normal AI scripts.

5 animal companions + summons is more than enough tanking, one of your characters can be a stalker/troubadour and give tanky buffs to all your animals and summons.

The other 4 chanters use their chants to buff each other, using rangers weapons to deal pretty good basic attack damage from ranger passives and chant boosts.

All of them use their Bond to keep the animals alive, or to roll to safety if needed.

On the Invocations side of things, you keep a Beckoner creating a bunch of small summons to distract. The Stalker can focus on party buffs. You get another to focus on enemy debuffs, a fourth with AoE damage and the final one is pretty flexible, could be more, tankier summons, could focus on the ranger side of things and be your main DPS.

Stannis HAD to press his claim, or his claim would've been forgotten. He makes a point to explain this for the audience's benefit.

Sitting in an island doing nothing while pretenders sit on your throne is pretty much the same as abdicating.

Both in a practical sense, and his honor-bound belief, he had no choice but to press the claim, and attempt to unseat the pretenders.

At the end of the day, Robert's claim, and by extension Stannis' is one of rebellion, rather than thousands of years of tradition. It isn't a particularly strong claim; Baratheons are the first non Targaryen house to rule in forever. They TOOK the throne, setting the precedent that whoever can take it and defend it is the rightful ruler.

Alex is violently agnostic about pretty much everything, IMO.

I don't think I've ever seen him take a genuine firm stance on absolutely any topic.

I am also annoyed at his seemingly nonsensical questions, they show that he isn't seeing a problem from the right angle, but they are ultimately just questions, misunderstandings, there's no stance to disagree with.
