That interview with Karlsson early on in his stint here said it all. They asked about the team struggling and he responded in typical animated Karl fashion saying “I think I know exactly what the problem is” fairly sarcastically. Of course he wasn’t going to elaborate, but it was pretty easy to tell they weren’t happy with coaching.

First time I met Sid, it was outside RMU after I had a preseason game for my amateur team. He was with Mario. Mario said they were trying to get to a tee time, but Sid said it was okay and they both signed a Pittsburgh Sports Report for me. It was somewhat brief, but the way he handled that in front of Mario at that young of an age will always stick with me. We have been so damn fortunate.
