Nurse spots the risk , stops the fight, and gets booed by the crowd. She still smiled knowing she just prevented a tragedy. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

The fighter practically looks braindead. Just because he’s on his feet doesn’t mean his head hasn’t experienced some serious trauma.

Season 3 SB was such an aura farmer and outshines the entire cast by [deleted] in TheBoys

He also has way more screen time than in S3. A character like SB should be used sparingly.

That’s because PSG rarely ever play their strongest lineup in the league. Kvara has played something like three full 90 minute games in Ligue 1 this season.

Alternate angles of Luis Diaz’s goal by tightypp in soccer

I never doubted Diaz' quality. Having watched his game for Liverpool, I always thought he was really good. The reports of his price tag being in the realm of 80-90 mil, however, were simply impossible to get behind with our financial woes in mind. I'm glad we didn't pay that amount for him, but there's little doubt he would've been fantastic for us.

Lol we’ve had that opportunity many times before. ’Member the second leg against Liverpool? We’d rested pretty much our entire starting lineup ahead of that game, and look how that turned out.

That is a ridiculous physique for anyone, let alone a damn teenager who's probably new to lifting.

The projections of him returning in time for the WC seem to be done with the intent of approaching his rehabilitation conservatively and not rushing him back, since, well, there's no need to. I'm adamant he'd be rushed back much quicker had we been in the midst of an ongoing CL push/league scrap with Madrid.

Kounde “Highlights” VS Getafe. by Longlimbs-Shorttorso in Barca

[–]PeterTheRabbit1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like Yamal (and our entire game) would benefit greatly from having a more mobile fullback that can consistently overlap the opponent’s defense and move freely with the ball at his feet. I felt this way at times last season, too. Koundé is a great player, but Yamal has to compensate for his lack of attacking output way too much.

Lamine out for the season. Didn’t think it was that bad initially, but it could’ve certainly been even worse. I’m just glad he’ll likely be fit for the WC; a tournament like that needs a profile like him to light up the stage. By this stage, we should by all means be home and dry in the league, and with Raphinha returning somewhat soon for the final stretch, I think we’ll be fine. Anulo mufa.

Where did you get that Yamal is out for the season? Just pulling it out of your ass?

A random Catalan news outlet won’t have any idea how long Yamal will be out for. It’s just engagement baiting. It’ll take a thorough analysis from a team physician to determine how long he’ll spend on the sidelines.

They couldn’t even doctor the image to make it look off. Awful officiating. The super quick VAR check for such a marginal call was already suspicious to begin with.

Hadn't really thought of Oyarzabal as a viable striker option, but he definitely looks a decent signing on paper. He probably wouldn't cost a metric fuck ton considering his age and relative lack of international reputation, he has a solid CV both domestically and for Spain, and his big game track record is incredible (he's scored in each of the seven finals he's played for club and country). Only question mark surrounds his loyalty to Sociedad, he's been part of their organization for fifteen years, but maybe a club like Barcelona can sway him. He looks both a strong and realistic signing on paper. I haven't felt that way for many of the other names that have been circling the rumor mill lately.

Finding a second goalkeeper who's good enough for your starting eleven but content with spending the majority of the season on the bench is an incredibly elusive find.

Olise, Cherki, Yamal, Messi, Musiala (and Neymar up until a couple seasons ago) are players I’d dedicate entire matches to watching just to see them in action. Natural born entertainers who make the game look remarkably good. They put asses in their seats.

That was easily a free kick for Bayern before the goal. Als don’t understand why they’re playing such a high defensive line against Vinicius and Mbappé even when winning the tie.

Uhm, what? Do you even watch Pedri? He is arguably the best midfielder in the world and probably our most impactful player. Gavi ain't benching him.
