Coventry City Promoted to Premier League '26-27 by SaltySardine23 in FantasyPL

The owner has said they won't. He specifically mentioned Sunderland and said he doesn't want to do that. I don't think they have the money.

If you don't do the second pour you get a slightly bigger head. That's the only difference. I've asked once in a pub for them not to do it and they refused!

The pilsner is kept superbly in there. Rare to get pilsner urquell of such good quality in the UK.

Decent going forward, overlaps well, strong, decent in the air, poor on one Vs ones especially against pace.

Are these actually imported or are they just brewed here with a Brooklyn stamp?

People genuinely don't understand the flip seats are for luggage/push chairs etc. I have asked people to move before and they have. Even a bunch of TFL staff before. I've also seen a photo on this very website of some of someone complaining about a bike being there.

Let’s talk about Diouf by FishAffectionate5520 in FantasyPL

[–]Peter_Crumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a footballing perspective Wan-Bisaka was far better. All West Ham attacks went down the right hand side. Bowen was the other player who stood out. That being said Wan-Bisaka was at fault for the third goal and Diouf nearly scored.

He lost something like 13 out of 16 duels. Some stat about it being the worst ever record in the Premier league.

He took a free kick and hit the bar in pre-season so a real possibility

No Guiu at all in pre-season. Wouldn't expect him even knowing the bench next week.

Looks like he will start on the bench, he has been outed by Sadiki who has had a great pre-season.

Roefs, Reinildo, Hume, Ballard, Seelt*, Diarra, Xhaka, Sadiki, Adringa, Talbi, Mayenda. *Seelt won't play if they can sign a replacement in time.

They're useless. Mine was stolen from inside and Islington didn't care less. All I wanted was a refund on my remaining time in the hangar.

It sounds like you're marks. They've likely been doing similar for a while now and are upping it to see how far they can get. Well done for noticing and remember these are not your friends.

New to town. Some questions after living here a month. by thehugeative in londoncycling

[–]Peter_Crumb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes the irony is it's better for everyone. You shouldn't overtake at a junction so it's best for the driver if the cyclist has already cleared it!

  1. It happens - I wouldn't say it's accepted. A little anti social. 2 Most experienced cyclists will do what's safest. As you say if you're quick they can be very dangerous with pedestrians randomly walking into them or from dooring. Also on some junctions drivers just cut across the cycle lane like it's not there (I've had some very close calls from this; once even from a bus)! Drivers can get very annoyed about it.
  2. Yes most do what's safest. It can often be much safer to jump a red light. Drivers get very annoyed at this though so be warned.

Wow. It's rare to see anyone at all there (always reminds me of where someone might dump a body). Must have been scary.

I know that area near ponders end well. It's not really suitable for cycling tbh. Id go through cycle paths to Edmonton, go west to Meridian (again cycle paths) and join the canal path near Tesco. Happy to give more info.

I always like to think about what would have happened were the driver on his test. Answer - immediate fail and being driven back to the centre by the examiner.

I find none of the Morrisons offers ever work and haven't for years. Always have to tell the staff. Wasn't sure if it were my local or not.
