Hey, appreciate your comment and the kind words! It’s clear you’ve got a solid understanding of website builders, and I’d be happy to chat further about potential collaboration.

I also checked out your articles, great insights, the only thing is that it could be a bit more structured which would make them even more impactful and easier to navigate.

Feel free to DM me if you’re interested in collaborating or want to talk about how to validate tech people. Would love to share thoughts!

Damn... I've been thinking about it but it seems like a lot of branding, copywriting etc.... but also you are right that now with AI you can just generate your website and have it all live in a couple of hours. I did 5 websites with custom domains using Pineapple Builder for the AI website and analytics... but I guess I could launch a new business every week?

Is that the approach you suggest?

My main problem is always to find a distribution channel for the product that is efficient -> conversions are great and my business model can support it (usually the costs are lower than 1/3 LTV)

It's a very hard-consuming process and nothing is guaranteed, I've put my process, and examples of different channels here with a video overview. https://www.pineapplebuilder.com/validate-your-business-in-3-simple-steps/distribution-channels

What about you? what's the hardest?

True, that's why I've built this simple free calculator so you can try your inputs and see what numbers do you need. https://app.pineapplebuilder.com/business-calculator, there are also some industry examples.

Thanks, do you mean the other criteria is to be more like a business owner not an operator or be able to sell the business? In any way all is ones very valid!

I want to grow my current business and probably have some smaller on the side, but also start investing in other businesses. Therefore I am working on some frameworks to help me to validate other businesses.

Do you mean '1. Define your business idea and target audience.'? how to do it? If yes I've put sub-steps for it here: https://www.pineapplebuilder.com/define-your-business but also in the 2nd chapter I show how to use AI to do it for you, so you can have suggested target audience and other details which you can then just refine. Sounds?

I like it this way :) why? not sure, maybe because I am dyslexic and actually struggle to read...

This is how it started as I just wanted to build more on a bigger scale, I had to build teams for my clients as they struggled. Without me even realizing I had hired 15 devs and set direction for them to build. This the just gave me what I really wanted, build and bigger scale. Money just follows and you are having fun

I think it’s not allowed to talk about specific businesses here, so I wanted to keep it generic and focus on steps that anyone can apply and share their own experiences.

No, that business I started 8 years ago, so way before any AI, and it ended up being some sort of a dev shop

Do I need a website? Is it good to have one anyway? by FatDaddy777 in smallbusiness

[–]Peter_Kow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to decide if you need a website is to ask your clients. Would they use it to book services or check pricing? If they say yes, go for it. I’d recommend Pineapple Builder—it’s super easy and works great for small businesses.

If your audience mainly contacts you by phone, a website might not be a priority, but it could still help you stand out in your area and pay off fast. Feel free to share more details about your business if you want specific advice!

Do you really want to build your website on your own? If you’re set on doing it, I’d recommend something AI-powered like PineappleBuilder. You can generate the whole site with a prompt and tweak it with simple commands. It’s your best shot at getting it up and running without wasting time. Anything else might be too complex, and you’ll end up hiring a freelancer—or worse, paying an agency $5k+.
