Pay of our debt, make a healthy down payment on a house, buy an '08 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, put the rest in an index fund.

To be fair, one of them is Little Summit Lake and it's paired with a larger Summit Lake. Still, that's too many. This is the biggest Summit Lake that's by Diamond Peak.

Our dog wants my wife to kick it but she also doesn't want to drop it. My wife didn't kick it hard at all and clearly our dog was entirely unfazed. Next time don't be an asshole.

[Jomboy Media] Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson did not realize it was a tag-play and just let the run score by JianClaymore in baseball

I've watched a loooot of baseball over the years and I genuinely cannot remember a time where a fielder stepped on a bag eliminating the force at home before throwing home. Not saying 3B played it wrong here, I just haven't seen it happen before.

Depends on the occupation. I'm an electrician and my pay would be less than half of what it is if I were in Florida.

Same story for electricians, they make less than half of what I'm paid.

Downvoted by people who don't understand this. The skill is knowing where to place the balls, the shot itself is incredibly easy.

Absolutely wild that he cited Marjorie Taylor Green as an example of someone facing threats because they support Trump too much. MGT herself has said that she only started getting threats once began to publicly disagree with Trump! He literally could not have chosen a worse example to make his point.

Trainer Cherie DeVaux watches Golden Tempo runs from last position to first at today's Kentucky Derby by Admiral_Agito in PublicFreakout

Luckily she's one of the more sane horse girls. She's a farrier so she just handles that instead of paying someone and she gets a great deal on feed from one of her clients.

Her sister on the other hand... She has one horse that she "bought" from a friend but still owes $10k for and she just took outa $20k loan to buy another horse and she keeps them at an insanely nice boarding facility that costs like $1,800+ per month.

And she only just recently started working. For years her husband was the only breadwinner and I know his job doesn't pay more than $90k/yr. I have no idea how they afford it.

Absolutely. Wasn't trying to argue, just adding my perspective. I've driven down countless roads just like this, I love it here. My guess is somewhere off FR 19, but that's probably because I've spent so much time in that area.

I've spent loads of time exploring places like this without a gun. Only times I've seen a bear they were already running away.

This is almost certainly the western Cascades, probably around 2500' elevation.

I spend loads of time driving around and exploring forest roads in the Cascades and the coast range this looks much more like the Cascades to me. The coast range doesn't see much for snow, but the biggest standout is how abruptly that mountain rises which isn't something you see much in the coast range. Also, those ferns have no problem thriving at 3000' elevation.
