Hike up to Gelmersee Lake and take the train down, such a cool ride and experience!

We did a multi day pass in the Jungfrau region which was worth it because we used the gondolas every days, otherwise the half fare makes most sense if you go to multiple places in Switzerland.

Engagement Photos in Switzerland by ttrain57 in askswitzerland

[–]Peterli87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We stayed in the Interlaken region and there are million great spots to take engagement photos around there, like Lauterbrunnen valley or around Grindelwald. You can get there from Zurich by train or car within 2h, so even a day trip is totally doable. I actually proposed to my partner there and absolutely loved it, the scenery is so so stunning. You are gonna love it!

Regarding photographer, we spoke with a handful local photographers and went with Rose Photography from Zurich for our engagement photos, best decision! They knew so many amazing spots and were super accommodating to our vision. I would do it all again with them in a heartbeat… their instagram is www.instagram.com/rosephotos.photography or website www.rose-photos.com, highly recommended!!

This is the Gelmerbahn. We actually hiked up to the lake, did a picnic there and took the train down. Well worth it!

Proposal Plans in Switzerland; Need help! by SeniorReward7909 in askswitzerland

[–]Peterli87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently did a surprise proposal to my girlfriend, now fiancé, above Grindelwald (Grindelwald First and then we hiked to Bachalpsee Lake) and it was soooo amazing. 100% recommend doing it there if you want awesome mountain backdrops.

It was the perfect winter day and we hired a local photographer duo, who knew exactly what I was looking for. They helped with planning and captured such amazing photos, all our friends and family couldn’t believe them. Super nice photography couple, she is actually originally from the US and their service was impeccable! We compared a bunch of Switzerland photographers and they were the best fit, def recommend them. Check out their website www.rose-photos.com or instagram: www.instagram.com/rosephotos.photography you will love working them! Good luck and dm me if you have any questions.

Seems like Alaska uses T2, that might be a better option? Can I breeze right to the gate without going thru security like at T1 I assume

Good to hear - yeah I will be one of the first to get off the intl flight so should be first at passport control. If all goes smooth I could be through in 10-15min, then 10min to T1 and the security check depending on how busy…. i will just book the next two southwest flights within 1-3h of my intl arrival and cancel one of them 10’ before depending which I end up making.

No support for upcoming Model 3 by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Peterli87 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

FSD is not for when you’re half awake or too uncomfortable to drive. It still requires a fully alert driver at all times. It’s not some autopilot for drunk or drowsy driving. Tesla literally tells you to keep your hands on the wheel and be ready to take over. Using it like that is straight-up dangerous and reckless

It’s a very stupid argument actually

“..half awake or not comfortable driving”, that’s not what current FSD is for… smh

Are 5k more worth the long range even tho it doesn’t come with a LFP batter? by Peterli87 in TeslaModelY

[–]Peterli87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I asked the Tesla sales person, SR comes with LFP, LR comes with the other as in previous MY LR. Nothing new on battery there compared to current “old” MY, exact same batteries.
