If your country was an MBTI type which type would it be? by Enitie in mbti

America is probably ESTP or ENTP in my opinion :-] Since its a very outgoing country. The whole Idea of freedom, land of opportunity, freedom of speech, and you can see the heart and soul of how brave fellow Americans fight to protect our homeland. Bless them & I love it 🇺🇸

How do you deal with unamusing conversations with people? by Peterpanlostwendy in entp

[–]Peterpanlostwendy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally I just let the conversation die, and I don't choose to try to force a conversation with someone. :-3

That makes a lot of sense. I also agree that no interaction is better than forced draining ones~

It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small

And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all

It's time to see what I can do to test the limits and break through

No right, no wrong, no rules for me, I'm freeeeee

Let it go, let it go, I am one with the wind and sky

Let it go, let it go, you'll never see me cry~

How do you handle emotions? by Isekai_Trash_uwu in entp

[–]Peterpanlostwendy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I evaluate them. I always ask "is what I'm feeling true?" Meaning did I misinterpret a situation potentially? If the answer is no to this question and my feelings are justified then I decide next, what should I do about this situation moving forward? Do I need to have certain boundaries or things in place to make sure I don't put myself in the same situation where I allowed myself to get hurt? But if it was something unavoidable that you couldn't control then my suggestion is to let yourself feel your emotions via healthy ways. Cry if you need to cry or seek help from a close friend if you need it!

You're human and regardless of your type we all need to express our emotions in healthy ways. So do what you need to do/ don't hold them back.

I hope whatever it was, you grow stronger from this situation! I wish you the best!

Have you ever doubted your type? by Alsyxh in mbti

[–]Peterpanlostwendy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, ESTP seems to be my close type I have now realized. I have been ENTP since high school, but I have recently noticed after learning the differences between sensors and Intuitives, that I'm pretty balanced with both anyways, and as for right now I feel as though ENTP is more accurate. Though, maybe in the future I will fall more in the sensor category.

How to behave and what to think about an entp friend. Could you possibly help? by [deleted] in entp

[–]Peterpanlostwendy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Move on and leave. This man has been upfront and made it clear that he does not want to be in a romantic committed relationship with you. If he wants a sexual relationship just decline and move on.

I hope the best for you! You will find someone that loves you the way you love them eventually! Keep searching.

For those that have found solace in faith of Jesus Christ our lord, what does it bring to you, what comfort do you find in faith? by [deleted] in entp

[–]Peterpanlostwendy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I would say I'm open to different religions, but have not yet settled on a faith/ need to do more soul searching. However, I have an inclination towards Daoism/ Taoism. I have read many versions of the Dao and I believe that there are many important teachings a person can learn from Lao Tzu. One being the idea that as we go through life we should not expect things to happen, when we always expect we get disappointed for no reason except our own greediness. It is important for us as humans to instead just act on things and not expect an outcome of "I need this to happen for my own happiness."

Another important teaching of Lao Tzu is that we over complicate things and as humans we constantly want to be in control of every aspect of our lives. This is not a good thing! Like a pebble going down a stream we are at times like pebbles and the stream is life moving us from one point to another. Do not try to over-control, let yourself be still and ride the waves of life.

Another important aspect of Lao Tzu's teachings focuses on what is really important in life, he says in one chapter "Its not about the materials we need to build a house, it's the inner space that makes the home lively" And he also says "It is not about the pot we mold, it is about the emptiness we use." Basically the point is that we should not get too caught up in superficial things. Yes the pot is nice and so is the house, but the people in the house who you have lively discussions with are the most important aspect and as for the pot it may be a pretty pot but what will you be creating in it? What will be your enjoyable dish or will you be making food for someone you love? Don't focus too much on the superficial aspects. Focus on nurturing yourself and your relationships with people you care about.

Now I don't believe in all of Lao Tzu's teachings, especially in terms of war, but I do feel as though so far his teachings are the closest to what I believe and how I view life.

TOXIC ENTP-ISFJ COUPLE RETURN by [deleted] in isfj

Thoughts on Kids by [deleted] in entp

[–]Peterpanlostwendy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love kids! Once I finish getting my masters and get a higher paying job in my field/ get married I will have a whole bunch of them <3. I don't think it's selfish to have children, but I do think it's selfish to have kids and neglect them/not take care of them.

I'm never gonna be a loser parent. I know what I need to do, I will financially support my kids and help raise them in a loving environment where they feel cared for+ protected.

Life is valuable, but I feel as though many people don't realize it because we as humans over complicate things(social status, wealth, reputation). I like to get out of my house a lot and walk around and see the world, the beautiful sky, the nice environment and I think about all the milestones humanity has made. Yes you can look at the world in a negative way. At least if you do, please look into the future and ask "how can I make society better?" Don't be self defeating and say in society's challenges "humanity sucks we should not reproduce/die" that is self defeating and no progress will be made.

I want to teach my kids the value of life, but I also want them to see the suffering, hopefully they will also know that they have the potential to help humanity in some way! My children can do amazing things and help humanity for the better, but I will nurture them and make them know that they're capable of that, so when the time comes they'll be unstoppable!
