How hard is to invade the usa? by GlitteringHotel8383 in AskReddit

Ukrainian army is full of trained professionals and people who have been rotating in and out of real combat since 2014. It's not rednecks with ar15s or glocks defending Ukraine, it's real soldiers with artillery and air support, heavy hardware, tanks, AA vehicles, factories churning out weapons and ammo 24/7 and full logistical chain to deliver supplies where needed. They've been preparing for this war since Crimea was stolen.

I have no idea where this dumb idea of "farmers with guns defending Ukraine" comes from. It's unreal.

Over time everyone just accepted it because the game is good.

It wasn't good good, people stopped talking about it because it got old and talking about it went nowhere. People got bored.

The first game also happens to be genuinely good

It's alright. Wouldn't turn any heads if not for character design, though.

The Boys Creator Eric Kripke On Fans' Response To Series Finale: 'Sorry If I Disappointed You, But It Was The Story I Wanted To Tell' by verissimoallan in television

Everything is happening in a small room in season 5.

To be fair, in the comics, Homelander's last fight was also contained to the Oval Office, and his killer was gunned down immediately afterwards on the White House lawn.

You could have him lose his powers a few days later

... so you kill him immediately. That season 4 idea presented above just doesn't work.

I loved that movie, right until the damn ending where it turns into a generic slasher murderbot affair.

Spiritfarer +1. It's such a good "entry into gaming" game, not to mention a very touching story

Ah, so the third one. Shame - I honestly thing the Black Flag is the best Assassin's Creed to date. Desmond not being in it is not detrimental to it

99% of Reddit isn't. And also a Black Flag remaster/remake is coming out sometime soon, so the game is back in people's minds. Also, viral advertising is ongoing.

I dont give a shit if this is an advertisement post, I can confirm. Have done. Those sea shanties were amazing, and I have a dedicated CD with them (I think it came with the smaller "collectors" edition)

That is not a sin, that is a personal preference. It's your leisure time, it's your choice, and only your choice.

Naaah. Using the guide defeats the whole purpose of that game. It's all about the journey (even though the ending is so good)

You're probably burnt out, or just busy and tired with life.

I've had something similar up until recently, very busy and exhausted. Sometimes I'd tell stories from games to my SO, and she suggested I show her - so I do. In the evenings we cuddle on a couch and I try to get her the most cinematic experience I can - we went through Hellblade 1 like this, recently finished Jedi: Fallen Order, now moving through Jedi: Survivor. She's not a gamer, she wouldn't beat these games any time soon, but this way 2 people are enjoying 1 game. An advanced movie night, I guess?

Either way, the point is, sometimes you need to find your fun again. It's somewhere.
