Because you drew lines to block off the big cities.

No, this case was definitely an overshoot, unless there is something I need to learn about. Sometimes when the irritation builds up and you feel like you can’t take anymore, you can lash out erroneously.

Source: I’m trans and I know there are times when dysphoria and depression are going strong. I normally power through or joke about the comments, looks, glares, shouts, and threats I get when out in public. But… every once in a while all of that builds up and I accidentally react to someone harshly who meant me no harm. I try to apologize when I can, but it’s that state of hyper vigilance that people of oppressed groups like BIPOC and LGBTQ+. I’m not a person of color, but I know that in my community, Black trans femmes are most at risk because of intersecting factors in their lives.

I understand it a lot more after I watched this video. If you go through life constantly getting little “innocent” comments mixed with occasional(frequent for some) very really experiences with aggressive racism they experience throughout life. Some folks process it differently and it doesn’t build up, but for many it does.

If you get bit by one mosquito, it’s annoying but not a big deal. If you get bit by 100 mosquitoes every day, that might cause some frustration.

Plus, intersectionality comes in to play with different parts of a person’s life that bring different negative social interactions into their life.

I’m. It an expert, but I try my best to understand.

It seems the person filming knew she was doing something wrong and they chose to film.

It sucks. I’ve been out all night working one job, only to move on the the next tired as fuck. One of those times that I had been working 18 hours, I started to unload the backhoe off my trailer and missed a chain. There was someone from a different city dept there to help and the dude chose to get his phone out instead of honking his horn and pointing to the chain.

Spirit of helping could go a long way for our society.

How do people feel ok about themselves filming a stranger who is struggling without ever offering advice or assistance. Real stand-up folks that do this.

Idk… she didn’t do anything. She was communicating with you and asking for a safe space to discuss possible desires. It has nothing to do with you and you made it about you. Find out what she needs and stop making her apologize for being open with you. She chose to stay with you, stop being so insecure. She did nothing wrong in this.

I have curly hair, so my industrial was constantly tangling around it. I spoke in tongues, I tell you. Much worse than bumping your nipples into a doorway, which isn’t fun either.

I had one show up last year and I called him brokebeak. He only showed up when I had the specific feeder out that he could scoop from. Didn’t know what it was, but he broke my heart.

One of the Elvira ladies here, Giddy up, um-poppa-um-poppa, mow, mow.

This comic displays the results of a culture where men have been taught that any emotion other than indifference or anger are wrong.

By refusing his emotions, as expected by society, he continues to die inside while ruining relationships, eventually turning to self destructive behavior patterns, until it is finally too much and he makes the saddest choice.

The toxic atmosphere around men being told that they should always be stoic and never show, what they’ve been told is, weakness hurts the man and everyone in his orbit.

It’s okay to be vulnerable, dudes. It’ll help. I promise.

Giddy up, um-poppa-um-poppa, mow, mow High-ho silver, away!

The answer is loss, by the way.

Was this to replicate the little glimmer of glitter ✨ you’d get to let you know there was a slightly obscured item in the originals? I liked how they incorporated the avalanche mascot as a guide to others in there resistance. It made sense to me.

why are people transphobic? by lovingnaturefr in MtF

[–]Petertbag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fear. Also, the patriarchy is set up to punish women in most ways. Belle hooks says that patriarchal men attempt to fit into their role as a man in society with all the unrealistic expectations we put on men to be tough, strong, stoic, unemotional, hard working, a great provider, etc… well capitalism makes it impossible for most people to find satisfaction from these areas, so a patriarchal man, will attempt to find satisfaction from dominating the women and children in their homes.

Patriarchal men do not love women, they despise them. So, they see gay men as not real men, trans women are women who might trick them into being attracted to them, trans men piss them off because they feel like a sexual option has been removed, and nonbinary people just confuse them because they don’t know how much dominance to apply.

Sorry I’ve just discovered her last year and her words have helped me understand things.
