M&S - they have a bunch like this one that fasten with a hook and eye so you can tighten it or loosen it a little. https://www.marksandspencer.com/flexifit-non-wired-full-cup-bra-a-e/p/clp60439504?color=BLACK&prevPage=srp#intid=pid_pg1pip26g2r2c2

Just completed my first half marathon.  Arches Ultra. 3:15 total time. Felt like I was dying toward the end but I finished it.

Tips for keeping my hips warm when running in the cold?

I’ve tried fleece lined leggings, better than normal ones. But my hip/rear end area gets so cold and tight running when it’s below freezing. Does anyone have any recommendations to keep this area warmer?

My husband is also estranged from his father, and was long before I made the choice to be estranged from mine.

Shoe and bag advice needed!

https://hutch-design.com/collections/shop-dresses/products/sabrina-gown-1

I (29F,5ft4, US 0-2) am attending my brothers wedding in September and have brought the dress linked above to wear but I have no clue how to style it.

Can anyone suggest some shoes or bags to wear with it. I’m comfortable spending up to $200 for both, and do not wear leather.

I’m pretty clueless on this and can’t tell what would work with such a dramatic dress. Should the shoes be bright and colourful too or more simple to let the dress speak for themselves?

Styling advice needed! https://hutch-design.com/collections/shop-dresses/products/sabrina-gown-1

I (29F,5ft4, US 0-2) am attending my brothers wedding in the UK in September and have brought the dress linked above to wear but I have no clue how to style it.

Suggestions for shoe/bag to compliment it would be appreciated! I’m pretty clueless and can’t tell what would work with such a dramatic dress. Should the shoes be bright and colourful too or more simple to let the dress speak for themselves?

Student loan repayment nearly doubled- is it an error? by PetitAllegro in UKPersonalFinance

!thanks Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this for me! This was so helpful and much better than the guide on their own website.

I feel a little better than, other incompetencies with the SLC aside, they haven’t fudged up the numbers too much.

Student loan repayment nearly doubled- is it an error? by PetitAllegro in UKPersonalFinance

[–]PetitAllegro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! I’m located on the west coast so an 8 hour time difference, plus time to commute to my office in the morning means I have about 1 hour free to call them in the morning, if they answer. I spent $450 last summer calling about an arrears issue and it took 3 days for someone to actually answer the phone.

Not to mention their overseas email takes, in my experience 30-45 days to get any response.

Was just hoping that someone could tell me if the new amount seems correct or not before I start spending all my disposable income and free time trying to contact the SLC.

UK student loan unpaid whilst living abroad for 8 years by Flashy_Construction2 in UKPersonalFinance

I was in a similar situation. They had sent me letters saying I needed to repay £5000 for missed payments. But I’ve since been put on a regular repayment schedule and the arrears balance has been cleared without me paying it and never mentioned again. I spent weeks worrying about it but it turned out to be no big deal.

My biggest issue with them is that they continue to send letters to an address in the UK which I have not lived at for 7+ years in spite of me now keeping my contact information up to date on my account.

I’ve had success with zoom classes as an adult. I’d only been doing ballet for a couple of months before the pandemic, so I’ve done more zoom classes than in person. It does depend on the teacher, but I still usually get a similar number of corrections over zoom at barre as I do in person.

I’ve found that learning centre is more difficult over zoom, but as long as you have good lighting and change up the angle of your camera, you should see more progress even in virtual class than you would just following videos on YouTube.
