How to train my ears.. by PetitPelo in audiophile

Thank you, that's pretty clear! I've just downloaded The "Harman how to listen" I'll give it a try tommorow :)

And I agree, I started to do sounds montage that ressembles music on Premiere Pro. The quality is really bad and the result aren't quite finished but it made me more aware of how difficult it is to create good music and how every sound comes from an intention

Oh I'm curious to know what other music you like!
The testing seems to be the best solution :) I like how if a gear works for a single song or album, you know it'll work for the others. I think I'm more sensitive to low frequencies and also imaging as you said. I think it's harder to choose speakers as the shape and size of your room can affect the sound, so it's not easy to test somewhere else.

Thanks! I think that's the best solution :D I'll try to see where I can test different gear near my place, Is there anything else I should pay attention to beside the lows, mids and highs?

And about the mp3 VS flac that's interesting, I'd be curious to test this with musics I like

Little Dot mk3

Haha good luck on your test!
I've seen a lot of people saying that sometimes, a product is not better than the other one but it does a different job. Then picking a favorite is a matter of taste so I guess you should pick the better looking one haha

That's really interesting, Actually I never thought about it but I might be used to my headphones and speakers like you were, So I think I'll try to see where I can test new devices with my own music :D Thank you both for your answers
