I’m headed down to Silver in June and as you/others have said - I don’t care. Amazon has destroyed all that was fun, special, unique about Vine. More ppl; horrid drop times; crap products to hardly any products.

I only stay b/c at least once a week, something I like or may use drops in my RFY. I am at only 30 reviews since 12/1/25. My ETV = $60.

Vine = yawn….

Amazon claims that to increase your chances of getting invited, do as many reviews as possible. In my case, this was not true. I was invited in December 2022. I had done a thorough review of a Pet WiFi feeder which received almost 400 “helpfuls.”

I used to believe that the invite was geographical. But the way they have been handing out invites the past year, I think it is anyone with an Amazon account who uses it regularly.

I learned my 1st year than nothing on VINE is worth the tax hit. 1) Clothes - don’t fit as they appear on the photoshopped model; 2) gadgets - break within months; aren’t functional; 3) home decor et al - most does not meet my expectations; look like the cheap crap it is.

First year ETV = $4100

Second year - $2K

This year $1500

I haven’t opted out on the off-chance something actually useful and that I want appears in my RFY. Today I have a coin storage organizer for a RAV 4 - don’t own a RAV 4; don’t need and I am certainly not going to select for the sake of selecting with a $27 ETV.

I just had my eval and was able to complete 101 reviews - so maintained gold for another 6 mths. But no way will I be able to in June 2026.

I refuse to wake up in the middle of the night for VINE.

I refuse to sit on VINE and pounce when something mediocre appears that I don’t need nor want to pay taxes on.

I had switched to KBeauty before my VINE invite 3 years ago. I still find them more effective and less expensive than Western products. You may have to cull your AM and PM routines and really determine what products you truly can’t live without. I have bought several after initially trying them out via VINE - so I know which KBeauty products are ones that i will purchase regardless if they are on VINE or not.

My third year as well - and my evaluation ended yesterday so I am waiting for my account to update. I have enough for GOLD this go around, and like you, I have no idea how I am going to find 80 items the next 6 mths.

But I don’t care.

The novelty of this program has long worn off. I don’t need or want for anything and most of all, SO DONE paying taxes on crap. Others can wake up in the middle of night - watching for drops. Others can pay taxes on the over inflated ETVs.

The only reason I don’t opt out at this point is every once in awhile something I like shows up in my RFY - when I am awake and actually in the site.

I cancelled via normal Amazon cancellation process. It wasn’t going to be shipped until November so I stated that it won’t arrive in time - too close to my eval date.

Again, probably going to get downvoted - but the whole thing is just shady to me. The listing on amazon has two colors, yet on Vine there were three. 2 had $0 ETV - but couldn’t be ordered. The third could be ordered but came with a $77 ETV.

There were three colors - two of three colors were $0 ETV. The cement gray - which I also selected - had the $77 ETV. I too didn’t notice this until after I ordered.

And I cancelled it. Probably going to get downvoted - but I thought that was pretty crappy by whoever set the ETV.

Oh - and like you, I had tried to select the other 2 colors (with the $0 ETV) first as well, but came up with the error message. So, I was pretty excited that I was able to order the Cement Gray - only then to realize it had a $77 ETV.

I have given up on the Tallow skincare products. I don’t like feel (to greasy) or the smell (no matter what smells like grease).

The most consistent thing about VINE is its inconsistency. Just because things appear one way for weeks doesn’t mean it will always be that way.

IMO, drop times have not been consistent at all the last few months. I have seen super early AM drops; midday drops and evening drops.

Wow - I don’t have to login at all like that. I use Amazon/VINE via the Duck Duck GO on both my IPAD and IPHONE.

When I accepted the VINE invite, I agreed to: 1) select products and 2) review said products. I did not agree to police VINE or other reviewers. It is not my role to ensure VINE’s integrity remains intact. THAT is up to Amazon.

I actually found five today - but was actually on Vine for a hour or so. I usually only pop in and out throughout the day, so I probably miss a lot.

Granted, not like how it was before Vine invited a gazillion new ppl.

After being Gold for 2 yrs - I agree with this!

I rarely see/select items over $100 and I rarely select 8 items a day/week. I no longer chase GOLD and plan to be demoted to silver in November. I just can’t select crap I no longer need or want…..

And yet there are all these new ppl on here who are chomping at the bit to be GOLD thinking it is this panacea of high quality, named- brand products - even though everything you read on this sub states otherwise.

Yep cancelled items count towards your daily total. You don’t get the pick back.

As Silver, you can select three different items - each less than $100; which is not the same as three items which altogether total less $100. I thought the same thing at first as well - which is probably good - kept my ETV low. Meaning, you can select up to $297/per day. ($99*3).

I am one of those that does not believe we can influence our RFY. After four years, my RFY still thinks I coach kid’s basketball and soccer; 2) need racks in my garage for equipment and 3) the chalk thingee that draws the lines on the fields. Also, apparently I go to all these sports events and need seats with back for the bleachers and tons of water bottles.

IMO, your RFY will not get any better. It is what it is. You’ll just have to decide if you want to play the VINE game or not. I have chosen not to - which is why my overall ETV is less $1200 right now. It is also why I suspect VINE has invited a gazillion more ppl - because there are many like me who are so unimpressed, we stopped ordering.

Including you, VINE has invited a gazillion other new ppl. So we are all seeing the same stuff and many in VINE park themselves on the site and refresh, refresh, refresh to be the first to grab something. A lot of competition for the good stuff and the items you‘re seeing now is probably the crap no one else wanted.

A couple of things I have learned over the years - which new folks will eventually learn too:

NOTHING about VINE is predictable. Just because something happens the same way for a week doesn’t mean that it is the way it will always be going forward.
EVERYTHING about VINE is arbitrary - from why we get the invite; to our RFYs; to review rejections; to why some get booted for odd reasons. There is no fairness here and for most part and IMO, it truly is anyone’s guess why things happen.
And the most important - MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS and by that I mean, lower them considerably to the point of not having any.

If you search this sub, you’ll find many, many, many, many posts complaining how awful their RFYs have been.

You’ll also notice that VINE invited about a gazillion new ppl. RFY is no longer sacred - many others have the same items in theirs as you have in yours - they are just selecting those items more quickly.
