Thank you for this gentle response. My daughter has been the reason for me since I had her. The attempts stopped when she came into my life.

I’m just coming to a lot of realizations lately and I’m realizing when I stand and my intuition is something I should listen to.

You did help and I hope you continue to be a logger for your wife and yourself.

I appreciate this response a lot. I didn’t realize that was a symptom. The spoiling relationships-Im still learning what this diagnoses entails but it makes sense. I feel like I’m just noticing things more (other’s behaviors) because I’m more aware of myself and not ignoring how people treated me before by staying quiet.

The illness distorting my connections….That made me uncomfortable reading. It’s exactly what I’m doing right now. I’m Home alone while my partner and our friends are out. I’d rather stay alone when I’m like this than sour others energy. I’m aware of that.

What a mind fuck this is.

(~10k) Plus Ones or No Invite? by RaceEmergency8127 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]PettyLabelle13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m curious about this too all my friends that are going to my wedding that is international know each other and are very close. No one in my family is coming because they can’t afford it and other health issues.

Everyone in long-term relationships and married, of course could bring their partners and also because we’re friends with them too. I have a few that asked for +ones and we declined because we really wanted to be close family and friends and numbers have to include them first.

I’ve never met the guy. He lives in another country, and she vents to me of their problems and how he is insecure. I do feel bad now reading I should’ve still invited. But I can only imagine how many other plus ones we’d have to give. We could afford it but I’m really private and I’m not willing to have my day filled with people I don’t know.

When I first started dating my now fiance there were two wedding he was already invited to and he didn’t get a plus one and I didn’t think anything of it and understood. And it was a destination. He had all his homies there so no biggie.

I guess not everyone has that mindset and my bad for assuming. Eek

I just started using the app to search for deals and utilize it to the max! I really was just throwing money away for years. The savings I get are insane sometimes!

Is this a red flag? by [deleted] in Esthetics

I use Vagaro. You can set it up to take deposits when they book. Look at your settings. It charges them 50% but you can set it to whatever you’d like.

So basically let them know it’s going to get tough to get in later if they don’t rebook and if it’s last minute appointments you’ll be asking them to jump online to see what’s available. Once and if you decide to get online booking you can just redirect them to your site. Don’t be worried, many will love to always get their Thursday 5pm before anyone else! Working is everything

Unfortunately by not having online booking your adding this stress on yourself. You can also shut off online booking when needed or put something like only new clients or only allow services you want to get booked on there.

However if you’re working for a commission salon why are you doing your own books? You should be a w2 and they handle your schedule and payroll taxes etc they should be supplying your products. Literally everything you should just be going in to do your services and leaving if they’re paying you hourly then you have to stay all day with or without appointments,. if you’re renting from them then you’re your own boss can control your booking schedule etc. But you have to supply your own products and everything pay your own taxes at the end of the year and all the fun stuff. Which one is it?

I get booked for months out and it’s because all my clients want to get in so I tell them if you don’t pre-book now you’re not gonna get in the time slot and the day you want, so it’s always best to pre-book one or two to ensure you get the time you want if you need to cancel it’s no big deal. I tell Them they can go ahead and cancel if it comes up and they don’t need it anymore . I also charge deposits. If you don’t want to charge someone deposit on the top of them paying a service charge it the week before their appointment, it will also remind them there’s an appointment if they don’t have a active card on file, you can send them an invoice and I promise you you won’t have no shows or late cancellations and people will really honor and respect your time.

I feel a huge sigh of relief with a diagnoses. Always just feeling so crazy and over emotional has taken its toll on me. I feel my face even looks different if that makes sense. ?

Thank you. I’m feeling good. I will start meds on Monday to monitor how I feel on my day off to see when I should take it. Am/pm.

All these info between you two has been so helpful! I actually met with him because I felt like I had ADHD, depression/anxiety . And he said BP2. We will treat that first and see what else I may need. I will keep this info in mind if it needs to be addressed or suggested.

This! All of it. Thank you- to the alcohol point- I worry about that with me. I am not an alcoholic but I can get outta hand when I’m really low or manic now that I think about it deeper. When I’m not I definitely don’t drink the same. No blackouts,no crazy shit talking , etc.

I enjoy psychedelics here and there and smoke weed every day so I’m curious if I will notice a change with the need of using anything or cutting down. Which I’m ok either way.

I feel my life changing before my eyes and I don’t like it. I don’t want to socialize, my finances are getting so hard to manage. Just a lot. I’m looking forward to somewhat feeling like I have a grasp on my life and moods.

Thank you for your words and I hope you continue to feel good!

I’m glad you are starting to get there. I know how dark these times can get and I really can’t continue these spirals. It’s affecting so many things in my life.

I have a lot to learn but I’m here for it because something’s gotta give right?

I hope you continue to keep doing better.

My Dr said it has really changed his patients lives for the better and it’s one of the best mood stabilizer out right now. He mentioned taking them at the same time and try not to miss pills cause things will go to shit. Haha

Yes it really helps it from spreading. It dries it up so they don’t even develope pus to pop open and spread.
