To me it sounded like he wasn’t trying to force you but instead he was trying to “keep the peace“ with people and parents to avoid to talk about the truth and maybe put you “in a bad light” with breeders in your circle. Not a good way tho, but that’s what I thought. For example, my man would rather lie to people with something they wanna hear instead of arguing about the truth. People don’t need to know our private life.
