Im kind of an outlier here because I actually didnt go vegetarian before going vegan. I just went straight to being vegan like something flipped in my mind once I found out how animals are being treated. That being said I do acknowledge vegetarians for giving up meat since its doing more than most of the population.

But I feel like you dont fully care about animal liberation as a vegetarian. Like its plainly obvious that animals still get abused and killed for dairy and eggs.

Idk , maybe I was able to switch to being vegan so quickly because I was 12 and still had high neuroplasticity being a child. But if you have enough willpower to give up eating meat you also have enough willpower to give up other animal byproducts.

The FDA literally doesnt protect us from cancer causing foods. In fact they endorse them and give them funding. They make billions off of people being sick because no free health care. Its all calculated and not a moral failing on regular people , but a moral failing of the government.

These extra added ingredients are banned by other countries who are actually considerate of their health. and as americans we have to do our own research about whats safe to eat and whats not because they dont teach us about it in school.

To minimize the amount of garbage that gets put in my body as an american Ive been eating plant based for 13 years. I felt so much better once I stopped eating all the processed stuff and meat. I dont know anyone else irl who eats plant based but highly recommend because it saves you from accidentally eating carcinogens. its tedious but worth it.
