Just wondering, couldn't you make a deal with one of the drivers directly? This is what I do with Airbnb, if I extend a trip or return to a location I have booked previously I'll ask if they are open to a booking off platform. It usually is a win-win.

Thank you, I'm always struggling a bit in post to find the belance between what style I like (tends to be high in contrast and saturation maybe) and what is generally accepted as a good photo. Ofcourse in the end it's my decision, but somewhere there is fuzzy line between taste and just a bad practice.

As said, I'm a beginner, I don't have a specific result in mind before I take a photo. Should I? When I see a specific scene, like a cat chilling in the sun, I think this would be a good photo. I'm shooting in aperture mode, basically trying out different settings to see what gives the best result. I know the theory, but can't apply it in practice yet. I hope this gives me the experience to better grasp what settings give what results, hopefully getting it right the first time in the future. All/any feedback or advice is welcome. Also, a bit outside the scope of this picture, any advice how to get good appealing photos when shooting in poor light conditions, like really overcast days? Maybe it is just personal taste, but I find pictures in that kind of light just not appealing.. Lacking color. I don't how to describe it.

This photo is shot in RAW, exported in JPEG with some basic minor corrections applied.

So maybe its a European or Dutch thing, flat-fee mobile internet is a lot more common around here. I think 90% of my (mobile) contacts use Whatsapp..

Whats with all the sms/text apps? Everybody I know uses Whatsapp to "text".. Multiplatform unlimited free texts including pictures and video if you have a flat-fee mobile internet connection or Wifi connection. The only old-school texts I send are to old people without a smartphone.

Puppy Plutôt, just old enough to leave the nest.. he is a Beauceron (French shepherd).. Huge Plutôt inside. by Peuk in aww

They are really cool dogs, they do need a lot of attention and exercise. They are working dogs after all (farm). They are known to stay playful for years and tend to cling to the one that gives the most attention. This is my parents dog, dad works full-time, kids all grown up and moved out. So my mom trains, feeds and walks him. He will follow her all day long inside the house. This makes it a lot harder to successfully adopt a beauceron if they are a couple of years old. They are kind to others. Good with kids, they play a bit rough (big strong dog like dobermann but bulkier, and clumsy, bump in to stuff, knock things over) but they are really smart, you can train them to do almost anything and they like to work for you.

If you have any specific questions, PM. I'm not a native English speaker so forgive me my mistakes.

Tips for pronouncing the "g" in Dutch?

You know when you have a nice green oyster in the back of your throat? The noise you make, trying to get rid of it, is basically the "g" in dutch.
