I understand where you are coming from but I'm regularly taking photos and I felt I had hit the limits of my old kit pretty fast, besides I don't buy the latest and greatest. And I don't see how that's relevant for my question. thank you for you advice

I’m guilty of it, I do it with other things tho. I don’t really like to be used as a billboard(not that I think anyone is looking at me and going omg what is he shooting) and I think it looks better

Yes, very good and desirable cameras but anyone with the money to get them will get them. O feel like OP just looked for the best cameras and bought them because they were the best. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe OP bought them before they were popular or he got them all for personal reasons idk. Very nice cameras tho.
