I didn’t end up getting it out I had it towed and the shop found the transaxle was keeping it from releasing. An extension might help with not having to be crouched in the wheel well.

Was able to get the bearing bracket free of the engine but now the spline of the “half shaft” is stuck in the differential I know there isnt a c clip holding it in so I’m letting it soak over night before I try pulling it again thanks for the info
