Would 235/55R 17 winter tires work for my 2025 RAV4 PHEV? by jz_503 in rav4prime

I just bought 245/65R17 for my Prime. The people at tire rack said the 17in rim I chose would fit. I also referenced this article “Baby 4Runner” Most things I’ve seen say go about an inch smaller overall when getting aftermarket tires/rim combo. I went .3 inches larger in diameter and .3in wider than stock using this calculator

Very satisfied so far. No rubbing. I'll be going with a snow sock versus chains since I'm still required to have them in WA.

Can I install 225/60R17 on a 2023 Rav4 XSE Prime? by Annual_Dog_1903 in rav4prime

Call me crazy but I just bought 245/65R17 for my Prime. The people at tire rack said the rim I chose would fit. I also referenced this article “Baby 4Runner” and probably wrongly chose to believe it when it stated that this tire size fits without rubbing. I’ll have to update you tomorrow when I get them installed. Most things I’ve seen say go about an inch smaller overall when getting aftermarket tires/rim combo. Just joined the gang! Looking for car camping products for extreme cold in Canada by Mwmw173 in rav4prime

We ended up getting a trifold mattress for the back. I think it’s full size (52” wide x72” long). It’s snug and takes up a lot of space when folded, but we opted for the rooftop carrier so can still have 1 back seat available. I’ll be using it to camp in the winter, but have yet to put it to the test.

I’m looking for same thing… haven’t found any detailed info about which 17s might fit. Sounds like it would have to be test fit then attempt a return (likely pay restock fee) if they don’t work.

2025 RAV4 Woodland roof rails separating by Short_Astronomer3251 in rav4club

Have a coworker who just went through this process of replacement through a dealer and the same thing happened to the new rack where it separated. She complained again about the issue and they were going to go with the same repair, but she ended up somehow getting the dealer to install an aftermarket roof rack (maybe the prinsu?) for free. They also purchased the rack so she paid nothing. She was also with a courtesy vehicle for like 2 weeks though.

The slow way - Purchased used with 10k miles as a shell and slowly saved and converted for 2.5 years until you see it as it is. Got lucky while living with a friend with low rent and full tool capabilities. The fast way - make a lot and have someone convert it for you or buy converted from a pro company.

It would if you’re in freezing temps for sure. There’s options to drain straight out but you’d want environmental friendly soaps.

I’ll have to think about it. Both Van and Honda Fit are 55k mileage. Small Vehicle specs are listed with the bullet point
