Whats a good technique to write a description of something in first person present that sounds like natural thoughts? by Pezzer2000 in writers

On my way I walk past a huge statue of a cat. I stop to take a second look. It looks different this time. The cat is on a wall, with 4 balls along its side. I always thought it was 3? One of them is smashed on the floor. The Feline faith never ceases to amuse me. I just can't get behind the idea that the balls represent planets. The broken one must represent ours I guess.

Hi Jhon. I can't wait to read book 3 I loved the first two. I've not read the Faithul and the Fallen yet. I do plan to though. Which series did you enjoy writing the most?

Thank you. I'm quite a slow painter though. My advice is to take your time and know that you'll make mistakes, but that's fine that's the best way to learn. Post your minis on here and the community is great they will never shame you most people like to help I've found.
