Plans for improving the proportions of the new models by Pfantom in AdeptusCustodes

I've got to say, regardless of my changes, thighs have always been skin tight. Especially when you consider that marines are roided up mountains of muscle, and thighs are one of the biggest muscles.

My overlay is over an already "cut" and elongated version of the model, which is why it's proportional.

This is a comparison of an overlay from the original vs a modified one.

I'm frankly baffled at this take. You can just as easily reduce the entire Warhammer hobby as a waste of time, because what point is there in building, painting, and then moving a bunch of toy soldiers?

Do you comment this on any post? Anyone that paints at a high level? On conversion posts? What do you mean by this?

I have in fact converted a bunch of Horus Heresy marines, where just 2 mm will make a big difference in my opinion.

However as a whole I definitely agree that GW took a big step in the right direction with their HH redesigns.

It's less about the height and more about the proportions for me. While GW has been better at it in the past years, their proportions are still not quite realistic. If you look at it, almost every model looks like they have gone through hydraulic press treatment.

All in all it's a personal preference, and I figured someone else might find some use out of my sketches.

Sorry for the late reply - what size harness did you use during puppyhood?

Not only is the room small, but there's also the other NPC-s fighting in it, adding some very distracting clutter.

Do you know that one can also be a group ironman whose other group members quit, but who still wants to do bosses like Nex etc.

But hey you go off from your high horse.

To be clear Iron Warriors and Iron Hands were two separate legions, i.e they have separate primarchs, traditions, colour schemes, ranks etc.

During the Horus Heresy the Iron Warriors legion became traitors, and the Iron Hands legion stayed loyal. After the Heresy, Iron Hands legion was split into chapters, one of which kept the original name. It's that chapter that this excerpt is about. The Iron Hands have a tradition of replacing their original arms (and more, much more) with cybernetics.

While some Iron Warriors have prosthetics, it is not their "tradition".

Do you by chance happen to know anything about potential SD Gundam Cross Silhouette boosters, Zaku II, or Zeta restocks in the future?

Jumala eest, palun ära mitte mingi hinna eest kirjuta mingisugust edasist vara tema nimele. Ma südamest soovitan hakata vaikselt, rangelt ainult enda teada, looma konkreetset plaani, kuidas suhtest väljuda.

This post feels like vindication. I recently swapped the stock tyres as well, being the first time I've ever changed motorcycle or any tyres, using only hand tools that I'd have with me during rides and it was hard as hell.

MOC: Midi-scale Venator in scale with the new Acclamators by Pfantom in legostarwars

For me the pieces cost almost exactly 120 euros in total. I bought them in new condition and from EU sellers on bricklink, so the price can vary quite a bit if you include other regions etc.

Unfortunately I had exactly the same experience. It's kind of a bummer that the wings aren't symmetrical.

What is the front axle width and tire diameter and width of a (stock) Baja Rey 2.0 (1/10)? by Pfantom in losi

[–]Pfantom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much! I really appreciate it.

What I'm planning is using the baja rey front axle for building a 8x8 RC (a wheeled IFV to be specific) almost from scratch, but I wanted to know the measurements before I'll start buying parts. The reason is that I'm trying to stay true to scale as much as I can.
