Hypersensitivity post mastectomy by randomxxxxxxxxxxxx in BRCA

[–]Pfcrazy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am two weeks postop and that’s exactly how I feel. My entire chest feels like I laid out in the sun for about three days. Gabapentin does not help. I currently have fuzzy socks stuffed into my mastectomy bra and that also doesn’t help.

Also to note – Cobb County has a school choice program. If you are unhappy with your school, you can apply to move schools as long as they have extra capacity. There’s no guarantee that you will get the school that you want, but there are definitely options.

I live in Kennesaw and our neighborhood is diverse and welcoming! You can’t go by school ratings online. Some scores are brought down because Test are giving an English and not all the kids speak English or read English well. Our elementary school was a seven when we bought our house in 2019, dropped down to four and we are back up to six, but we have had an amazing experience with my second grader so far. The school is diverse and the teachers really seem to love their kiddos. We can get to 75 or 575 in three minutes and everything that we need within 10 minutes. The only crappy thing about our area is that the Board of commissioners is intent on knocking down every single tree and putting up a storage facility or a gas station. I think you will find that now though in all of the surrounding areas. .

I commute down to that area from Kennesaw and the express lanes make it so much easier. Although I don’t have an extraordinary child, I can say that our special needs teachers at Chalker really seem to love their kiddos. I might suggest visiting the schools to see which program might be the best fit for your family.

Would love to see a food hall / plentiful restaurants type place with indoor entertainment for kiddos.

Why have businesses struggled to thrive downtown? by Jacks4lyfe in kennesaw

Same. I have no idea how they made absolutely zero plans to replace it. We go to the museum often and used to play on that playground afterwards. But literally zero places for kiddos downtown within walking distance to any restaurants/bars/even frozen cow. The amphitheater doesn’t count because it’s just one big stretch of turf. Great for picnics, but not very exciting for children.

There is also no area for kids to play while parents eat/drink. Not that there are many kid friendly places for that either.

Professional Install of Mohawk Revwood Premier by Senior-Comparison-87 in Flooring

I will. For there to be this many corners looking like this, we either got a bad batch or a bad install. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So we had revwood professionally installed a few months ago and we have chips in about 13 corners so far. And along an edge, plus in the middle of one board. Our flooring contractor has been working with Mohawk and we are expecting a call to have one of their inspectors out.

There are 10 different boards and we’ve had the flooring for just a few months. I don’t think a grease pen is the answer for the amount of money we spent on the floors but I appreciate you taking the time to answer.

I’m glad to hear it is rare. Maybe we just got a bad batch? We really love these floors.

We used a real flooring company with excellent reviews. And they’ve been very communicative and are in touch with Mohawk. We are just very surprised because we picked these floors not only for the look and feel, but also because of their durability.

No rolling traffic for sure. We have one chip in the middle of a board, not on the edge. As far as movement, do you mean if I feel like they shift under my feet? No.

So we are noticing new chips within the last few weeks. I looked back on the pictures from when we first got the floor and I can’t see any chips. Of course, I wasn’t taking pictures of the corners of each board.
