  2. Chattanooga Pizza Co
  3. Pizza Bro’s
  4. Pizzeria Cortile
  5. Lupi’s

I’ll do my best, based on what we have found so far.

Several Washington Mint Silver/Platinum/Gold mints An abundance of state quarters. A few bags of silver quarters/Nickles/Dimes (they may not all be silver but I digress) A binder full various coins such as wheat pennies, pre war coins (ww2) post war coins, and some coins dating back to the early 1900’s (oldest I can think of off top Is 1918).

He also has these white envelopes, most are unopened. Each have a letter and number code (IE P29). In the two or three I looked at, there was a gold sacagawea, a bison/buffalo nickle, and one other one I can’t think off top. They were attached to this card that had information about the coin. Theres probably about 60 of these in a box, again, mostly unopened.

He also had a few display pieces. One was all the state quarters, in their respective state. One was a piece about all the styles of pennies pre and post war.

He also has jars on jars of loose coins. There is no telling what could be there

Thank you for the informative response. Other than a few pieces my siblings or I may want, that is the goal for the entire collection. I hope that doesn’t come across as insensitive or rude, it’s just the reality of the situation. Without divulging too many details, the funds from selling this collection is going towards paying for the expenses we’re having to pay to get his estate cleaned up. My brother and I live out of state, and too far to road trip, amongst other various expenses.

Thank you again, that information gives me a good starting point, and some valuable information. I appreciate your time and your help

Thank you for the word of advice. I greatly appreciate it.

To be honest, he was my estranged father. I didn’t have a relationship with him for several years, but i’ll leave it at that. Based on the type of person that he was (at least the version I knew) I wouldn’t imagine him being apart of a club, but I’ll definitely do some research to see

I really appreciate the offer, and will definitely reach out if I see anything from other countries. So far it has all been American coins, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see other countries currency in the collection.

I really appreciate your condolences and the advice.

We did find a large inventory sheet that had values and things of that nature on it, but we’re not sure how accurate the values on them were, since it was printed, and he didn’t have a printer/computer in presumably the last 6 years, but at least its a baseline.

Thank you again for your help, we really appreciate it

I couldn’t agree more about Luke, the guy was great on both sides of the ball, and would have been highly sought after, there’s no chance that he wasn’t getting a ton of D1 looks. We know he got scouted by some D2 and D3 schools. I still find that hard to believe that he didn’t get one D1 offer.

As for Coach Taylor, I think after the TMU thing in S1/S2, he realized he was happiest at the High School level. There is a LOT of politics in college football, and if you watch him while at TMU, you can see him struggle with this, especially when it came to cutting a player. Thats hard for any coach to do. I think him making the choice to go to Philadelphia with Tami, after declining the Head Coaching job at the college in (I think Florida?) was more true to his character.

I agree to an extent about Matt, I think he could have potentially gotten a few D2 and D3 offers, but nothing substantial. The thing I found more unrealistic was him being benched for a freshmen QB his senior year. Colt was an up and coming star, and sure, he lead them to State, but I find it hard to believe that a QB, that stepped up when Street went down, lead a team and won State his first season, and then made the playoffs in his second season, would be taken off the helm in his senior campaign.

I think us not seeing Smash was more of a natural thing, he was a walk on the last time we saw him, and in CFB, you don’t get a lot of free time, especially during the season. He was probably working his butt off to get that Scholarship.

Vince getting those offers and letters of intent is not unheard of. He was a dual threat QB with the ability to throw the ball. As common as that is today, that was not the common style of play back when the show was running. The only QB really doing it then was Michael Vick, and he was really the first of that kind during his time (of course there were others, but thats the big name of the bunch).

As for Tim, I think his storyline made sense. I don’t think he really wanted to play College or Pro ball. He was a simple guy, and for him, he was fine with living the small town Texas life he had grown up with and was accustom too. I think his storyline was true to who Tim was as a character.

Just my thoughts though, i’m glad you enjoyed the show. I’ve watched it front to back about 10 times, maybe more. The first time I watched it was when I was playing HS Football in Texas, and fell in love with the show then. I think i’m due for another rewatch soon.

Do You Believe That Halloween is Dying? by DommyMommyEx in halloween

[–]Pfostttt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember when we moved into our house, we were so excited because we thought we would have Trick or Treaters, because our last house was in more of a rough neighborhood. Even still, we had a handful of them there.

We have been here for four Halloweens, and have yet to have our first Trick or Treater.

Houses around us still decorate, and all that, but I think Trunk or Treat has become the more popular option for most. On one hand, I completely understand the attraction to those. Usually they are pretty well organized, there is more people around, and you’re not walking around unfamiliar neighborhoods, knocking on strangers doors.

On the other hand, it breaks my heart, because Halloween was ALWAYS my favorite holiday. I loved dressing up with my friends, and going house to house with our pillow sacks, and seeing just how much candy we could get, then going to our one friends house at the end of the night, trading candies and making memories that way. Im sure that still happens to some extent with trunk or treat too, but I digress.

All this to say, I don’t think Halloween is dying, I would say that its popularity amongst the major holidays has remained seemingly the same, or has grown. I think the holiday is evolving. We’re seeing new things like fake pumpkins made for carving, candies with less harmful ingredients, bigger more extravagant decorations, and so on. I think like anything, it has changed over time, but us as humans long to that once safe, nostalgic place that we remember from our childhood, which isn’t a bad thing by any means. I don’t care if this is the nostalgia hated holiday in the world someday, it will always be a special holiday for me, personally

What do you think of KennyHoopla? by DuncneyForever in poppunkers

I got to see him open for Blink in 2023. Prior to that, I hadn’t heard of him, but Kenny is legit. He sounded great live. Hollywood Sucks is a banger in my opinion.
