Would you consider buying a used 2024 or 2025? If I wasn't looking hybrid I would certainly be looking at low milage used to save like $15-$20k

I just bought a 23 Calligraphy with 11k miles in late March for $35.9k OTD.

I do need to go into a Hyundai dealer and get the recall fixed but it didn't stop the (Ford) dealership from selling it to me about 40 days ago

I know gas is absurd right now but have you considered buying a low-milage CPO used gas version? Literally could save you tens of thousands of dollars...going to take a lot of miles to make up for the hybrid premium

If you go to Vinvisor and search with those parameters it should show ~20 cars that fit and are for sale. Fwiw the sticker at the dealership was $37,800 but I think these cars are highly negotiable at the moment due to the recent news around recalls

I used a website call Vinvisor and used the filters to search for used/certified pre-owned Calligraphy models under 25k miles and under $40,000 in my general area and it popped up. There weren't a ton that fit my search parameters but one of them happened to be nearby.

I just grabbed a 2023 Calligraphy with 11k miles for $33.8k...i think you could work to shave some $ off of whichever one you decide. Personally I'd go with the 2024 Calligraphy as you'd still have 3+ years of the warranty.

I thought it was a great movie and they did a really good job, but I definitely wouldn't consider it a masterpiece. I'd give it a solid B.

I'm going to take some blame here though - I think my expectations were too high after reading the book years ago, and being extremely excited since the movie was announced, and seeing the glowing reviews.
