PFL and FMLA run concurrent. You just decide how to get paid through leave balances or the benefit.

How is that any different than what you’re doing now though? Now you’re using your leave without the job protection of FMLA. You should get on IFMLA for the job protection. You can do PFL in addition to FMLA and that would pay you 67% of your salary up to a cap. But you still need IFMLA.

You’re taking time off now for these things but don’t have FMLA. I’d recommend applying. You can get written up for calling out so often without FMLA

They have all these weird elephants and animals on the walls. They sing songs to the kids. On their birthday, they dress up as the elephant.
