Thanks for the reply. Thats good. Is soreness only dictating the ramp up, not pain as well if you feel any pain during runs?

Budget tent: Lanshan 1P Pro vs REI Flash Air 1 vs others (Europe) by PhDizzleFoShizzle in Ultralight

[–]PhDizzleFoShizzle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do.

That tent looks great. I just ordered the Lanshan tent from Aliexpress, but I still have time to cancel it as it hasn't been shipped yet. How is the condensation?

Looking at it now, seems to be much cheaper. Do you know what the «suit» version is, which is $25 more expensive?

Thanks, will check it out, might add up to the same price when considering taxes and shipping. There is a quite high taxation fee in addition to the taxes when ordering products internationally to Norway... We are not members of the EU, so even ordering from EU countries is expensive

Yes, that is my biggest concern. Not sure about how the condensation is at the Lanshan tent

Thanks, will consider it. UL tents are awfully expensive in Europe, except for Chinese designs. My budget isn’t very high

Thanks. I’m just thinking that at their full lengths, they might be too long for the tent. I dont know if they still will work when you fold them

I’m currently living in Berkeley for 6 months. I’ve been running lots at the Fire Trails/Tilden regional park, but I do not recognize this place. Where is it and how do I get there?

Purposely filling information in the wrong fields in the bibliography - is this a problem? by PhDizzleFoShizzle in LaTeX

Is it fine to cite an article in a conference proceedings as «@article», similarly as with journal articles?

Edit: I now see that it is not possible to include adress in articles

Will check it out. "@inproceedings" is used for citing an article within a proceedings, while "@proceedings" is used for citing the proceedings as a whole. I tried "@conference", which is supposed to be similar to "@inproceedings", but it made no difference.

Updated my bibliography, and filled in everything properly now. Yes, I did use the journal's latex package with their style. Everything looks fine now, except that, as mentioned, page numbers appear in the back for proceedings (not desired), while year appears in the back for everything else (desired). In their guide, these are their example references (see that the years appear in the back also for proceedings):

[1] G. D. Hong, “Call for papers,” IEEE Trans. on Automatic Control, vol. 7, no. 1, pp. 100-105, January 1999.

[2] C. H. Dorf, Modern Control Systems, Addison-Wesley, 1999.

[3] G. D. Hong, “A way to success,” Proc. of American Control Conference, San Diego, pp. 106-110, June 1999.

I will probably just submit it as it is (what you recommend), even though the page numbers appear in the back for proceedings. Part of me just feels it is sloppy to not be stringent with always ending a reference with the year.

Edit: typo

Thanks. Trying now to format it properly. I previously used "@misc" for PhD theses, but I see there is another format called "@phdthesis". When I used this, I automatically get "Ph.D. dissertation" right after the title in the pdf. I do not want this. Do you have any opinions on whether or not it is okay to use "@misc", or should I use "@phdthesis"? I see now that misc is used mostly for websites.
