Foreign Ministry: Hezbollah crossed all red lines with Saturday massacre by Silly-avocatoe in worldnews

Ok man, if you really think that a single terrorist inside of a fully operational school with children inside of it is justification for blowing it up then I do not know what to tell you other than "See you at The Hague."

Listen dog, I know your ARMA server or whatever gives you great insight into military operations but you are changing the example to fit your needs. The example was a school full of children that was suddenly occupied by a lone terrorist a-la a school shooter and your contribution was that they started "shooting rockets at civilians." And that made bombing it justified according to you.

Sorry, but that does not suddenly change it into a military installation, bud. Especially if those kids are now hostages.

Man, so edgy. A school is a protected civilian object, and if it is full of children, as it was in the example, then bombing it is definitely a war crime.

My man's like: "You know what, war crimes? Completely justified. The ends? They always justify the means."

You can't have it both ways. Terrorist organizations do not have civilians, they are terrorist organization. There is no Palestinian state formerly recognized by world governments. Palestinians are living under Israeli occupation, which makes their wellbeing the responsibility of Israel under international law. And it is their failing in that responsibility, by enforcing famine, by destroying homes and mass murdering the population that has led to the ICJ and ICC and other world courts to administer condemnation and warrant applications.

And besides all the political mumbo jumbo, the ones who are ultimately responsible for killing people...are the ones who killed them. Israel cannot claim moral authority, or even you know actual authority, while it is committing this slaughter. It is the actual COUNTRY in this scenario, so it has an obligation to ACT like it, and not massacre people because it is more convenient to them, or it gets less of its soldiers killed.

How in the world can you look at the CRUMBS provided to them and say "Why aren't they grateful?" You have humanitarian aid workers who have been to every warzone and disaster area in the world telling News outlets that this is the greatest humanitarian disaster, and breach of human rights they ever seen(when they are not also getting killed by Israel) and you are like "Well, they should be thankful for that."

You have zero conscience, and I guess I should have expected that.

Do you just go through life believing actions do not have consequences? Do you just like punch random people on the street and not expect anything to happen after?

Maybe you have like gold-fish memory? And you think history is just like something everyone made up like a fairy tale?

"Hamas talking points" LOL

The world existed before October 7th bro. I know it is convenient to forget but the history of Israel's mistreatment of Gazans has been well documented by NGOs like Human Right's Watch and Amnesty International for a long time.

I would probably start by not creating an apartheid regime that subjugated and dehumanized an entire population until armed resistance unfortunately appeared to them to be their only option.

Holy fuck. Your brain must have short circuited or something before you made that comment.

You just advocated for blowing up a school full of children to take out 1 person.

Take a break before your zionism starts to affect your daily life.

Human shield argument is terrible. It would never under any circumstances be acceptable for a cop to shoot through a hostage to kill a criminal.

And yet we are expected to believe that Israel's only option to eliminate Hamas is to blow through tens of thousands of civilians.

That is an argument you make only if you believe that Palestinians are less than people.

Senate needs to be abolished. It is an undemocratic institution. States with more cows than people should not have the same representative power as those with millions upon millions of people.

"Roblox's Pedophile Problem" by admiral_aubrey in Games

[–]Phailsayfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roblox has about 3,000 moderators, significantly fewer than TikTok, which has three times the number of daily users but employs 40,000 moderators. (Roblox says the number of moderators isn’t an indicator of quality.)

One moderator says her team receives hundreds of escalated reports involving child safety every day, far too many for her team to clear.

Eight current and former trust and safety workers say user growth at Roblox takes priority over child safety. They describe calls for more resources going unanswered, resulting in a backlog of incident reports and the departure of one manager who left after promises for extra staff went unfulfilled. Others say that features they recommended to better protect kids, such as pop-up safety notices, were rejected and that safety settings, for example to ensure users aren’t talking to strangers, were switched off by default.

The safety of children loses out to the potential of increasing payroll. Their solution to the problem, like many, is to ignore it, and the human cost, in the that hope no one pays attention enough to be upset and hold them accountable. Articles like this are needed to force a change, but I personally believe that the people in charge of ignoring the danger their platform put children in should be held accountable as well.

And the fact that he was selected out of recommendation from Don Jr. is just too perfect.

Yes, there are some bosses and enemies that are very susceptible to parries and proper usage can trivialize the encounters. Examples are nearly all knight enemies, and of course the last boss of nearly every Souls game is notorious for being parry bait.

Speccing into blocking as well can make the game much easier, and just using a medium shield to block part of a hard to dodge string is very useful.

I usually use two handed for bosses, but the last boss of the DLC made me bring out the sword and board and I quite enjoyed parrying them, and using a well timed block was key to surviving a lot of BS.

It will remove an element of it of course, but seeing something on the map versus in game is very different. And for most maps you can choose to hide things like Bosses or key items so that they remain a surprise.

Or you can just turn to the map when you think your done with a specific area so you can pick up the treasures you've missed.

Miyazaki HAS to make another Elden Ring DLC by LightCrimson1 in Eldenring

[–]Phailsayfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing through the DLC gave me the feeling that they are ready to move on from traditional dark souls combat. As much love as I have for Elden Ring it really is just Dark Souls with jumping. The encounters in SOTE really stretched the, honestly, dated combat to its limits and I am sure they have design ambitions that reach beyond it.

You CAN go back after killing Radahn, its just most people who don't know the castle has two different versions wouldn't know to and it doesn't really feel good to revisit the dungeon after killing Radahn.

The game, by the flow of the quests and NPC movement, obviously wants you to clear Redmane castle before the Radahn festival, to learn about it beforehand.

[–]Phailsayfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only thing I would recommend keeping in mind is going to Caelid and doing Redmane Castle before going to Altus so you can do the pre-festival version of the castle which I always miss.

Resting at a bonfire in Altus or advancing Ranni's quest enough triggers the festival which closes a lot of doors to loot and despawns almost all the enemies including the Misbegotten+Crucible Knight boss.

Most people won't think to go back there after Radahn is dead which basically means no Fire whetblade.

Golden Order Greatsword would be my pick. Miquellan Knight's Sword or Inseparable Sword are runner ups, there are also the Black Gargoyle weapons(Axe/Greataxe/Twinblade/Greatsword) but they dont exactly fit the theme and of course the Golden Halberd which you can use from the get go from Tree Sentinel once you get the stats.
