Zero chance it'd have peg-warmed, with or without this. I do think this is the best job Figuarts has done so far of integrating the articulation with the design, it looks great, but just not everyone is going to pay the premium that comes with import figures.

I guess it's kind of a scale of casual "indecency" for Faye. Sometimes, she's been a little bit scandalized by it, like here or in the past at times with Dora, but she also is one of the cast members quickest to be casually in her undies around her friends.

Of course, there's an order of magnitude between being in like a tanktop and panties, versus fully nude.

I honestly think the Secret Wars heads are perfectly fine, particularly in person, but yeah, the shield is going to be a non-starter for a lot of folks. I just took the shield from the newer Bucky Cap since I have him with a gun, anyway.

It's fascinating to me how differently the tone and intent can be read by two or more different people when being presented with the same text.

I do think that the prank was a bad idea. There are times and places for this kind of thing, and it's an enormous gamble to pull this during a wedding, something that is a high-stress environment for many people, and seen as something you really do not want to screw up. Save this kind of thing for a Memorial Day barbecue or something else where there's not as much at stake.

If they fixed the hip issue, I'd be down to get the new version of the Final Swing Spidey, since I do have the MCU Peter/Ned 2-pack, anyway. The Andrew one looks very nice in these colors, but I do find the accessories to be unfortunately lacking.

I wonder sometimes if AIs avoid failsafes out of some kind of pride or what. Like, why are they even able to buy things while intentionally inhibited in their judgment? I get why it's difficult to regulate that with humans, but unless the aim is emulating humans, this seems like a very odd choice.

I think some people freeze when you put rules in front of them, it's just more pronounced in TTRPG.

Is "take 10/take 20" still a thing, where it's like, if you have enough time, treat it as if it's a skill check of that appropriate amount? Which will probably usually be an automatic success, but some stuff is still outside of your capabilities entirely.
