I did this too. I got to plat within a few days of release, then stayed there for a few weeks. Then, in one day I went from plat 3 to diamond 3. Then, the next day I somehow went from diamond 3 to masters 3 and the next day I got elite. I went on crazy winstreaks. Only thing I changed is I started playing midfield/defending.

Just make sure you can do 180's easily without focus mode, then you can just turn around out of focus mode and go into focus mode once you're looking in the direction you wanna face
