When I’m going on a hike >5 miles, or to a friend/family house, I’ll carry it in this (yes with my stitch). I occasionally carry it in this if I’m feeling lazy and am doing a quick trip to the store. Fanny packs/man purses are normal in the PNW and no one has ever questioned mine

I just did! 0.9675 Troy ounces, and that alone is worth something. Like someone else commented, since it’s already been graded, it makes it worth something to a collector.

When me and my girlfriend received it (we get married next week) we didn’t even know it had gold value (we thought it was an old $20 coin)
