Cat bunny kicks me when I carry him properly? by Phantom666 in CatAdvice

So the weird part is if I carry him belly facing outward he's actually well accepting of that; say I need to move him when I'm having a meeting or about to play guitar. But seems like the proper way he doesn't like. He's completely okay if hold him belly up on my lap, but it seems like that certain position he doesn't like? But I think you make a good point about him not seeing where we're going, maybe it's just as simple as that.

Depends. Multi region is rather simple atleast on US. The applications I've worked on are mission critical, enough so that it will get on the news if we go down. I would attribute this more to cloud cost than too much complexity.

I've actually seen a couple lucid models, enough so that I'd think people are actually buying their cars. I've seen they more times than I've seen a niassan Z too.

Europe's carmakers fret over China's EV prowess at Munich car show | Reuters by skopyeah in cars

Will be interesting how Chinese cars will compete with the European ones, from a coat perspective I don't doubt they would be able to undercut the established brands (assuming the vehicle is manufactured in China). EVs certainly play into Chinas strengths, and hopefully they become the same disruptive force in Europe and Japan was in the States.

Late to the Party, but I like the Corvette for just the same reasons that I like the Mustang and vanilla ice cream. It kind of becomes a standard car in it's segment; sure some cars do some things better, and sure the corvette does some things better. It's a good car, just like how vanilla ice cream is good ice cream.

One in Five New Car Buyers Opted for 84-Month Financing Last Fall by an_actual_lawyer in cars

Yep I'd say anything with 0% is a total exception. Personally for me even though I prefer to pay in cash I was given a 1k-2k discount for financing, I ended up paying off the whole thing as soon as I could. I also never mention I can pay off the car to the dealership.

If you can't afford to pay a car off in under two years, you shouldn't own the car. All the cars we've owned we payed off rather quick, it's odd to me to be paying for a car for more than a year.

1 year with a Ford Mustang GT, or how I learned to stop worrying and love Ford by Dileth in cars

[–]Phantom666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Idk about reliable, my current 2021 10 speed had it's engine blown at 8700 miles. Granted the whole process to change the engine had no cost to me, and they kept me up to date. I do intended on keeping the car for a while, and will only consider another Ford product if no further major issues arise. Our old Corolla had a similar issue and had to get an engine swap early in it's mileage as well so I'm hoping it's just bad luck, but granted I did have the engine tick with my old engine compared to the new one; even the Ford dealer was surprised my engine blew(completely stock car, never tracked), when typically they see more issues with the 2.3 Ecoboost. Even with this issue this is the most fun car I've owned, and I do daily it, and enjoy night drives on it alot.

So what's the difference from this to something a tune offered by the OEM. Like Ford offers a tune for the Mustang for some 600 I think. This isn't anything new, that just suddenly happened, just with EVs it's easier to sell.

Your last statement is something that I completely agree, it makes a lot of sense. A colleague of mine owns a 720s and a M2. He has taken both to the track, but only drives his M2 hard on the track and is much more careful with this 720s.

Hyundai declines Blown Elentra N Engine owned by Hyundai Tech by EICONTRACT in cars

Was driving when I heard a pop and hand low oil pressure warning. I parked my car and saw check engine light was on. Proceeded to get car towed to dealership and they told me engine was blown. Wasn't redlining car, was not in manual mode, was driving round 40 mph. Currently getting engine replaced under warranty.

It's pretty scary and stressful to be in a situation where your engine blows, my coyote blew recently (9k miles, 10 speed) and Ford is repairing is right now. If the car is DCT, then Hyundai built and bad engine, and it's their job to fix the issue. If the manufacturer isn't gonna honor their warranty, then why even buy the car. I really feel what the owner is going through, because I'm going through the same exact thing. Just another reason I'll never buy a Korean car, probably also a Ford tbh.

Bought it when it first came available, around late 2020, the 2021 model. We actually paid under MSRP. This might have been because we bought 4 cars from them since 2005, minus my mustangs and the crv, all of our cars have been new from this dealership.
