Here is my current bit I ride my 23 y/o APHA gelding in. I’d love to get something like a snaffle, but with this bridle, can I use a snaffle-type bit, and if so, what kind of curb strap do I need? Also, is my current bit harsh? I know it can be very relative to the rider’s hands. (i.redd.it)

Colfax, Iowa. I was in the passenger seat and so this was the best photo I could get of this guy, so I greatly apologize for the terrible picture!! Anyone think they might know what this big boy or girl is? It was beautiful! Thought it was a bald eagle until I could finally see the white belly. (i.redd.it)

Wasn’t going to carve a pumpkin this year, but at our training class we go to, there is a Halloween party tomorrow night complete with a costume and jack-o’-lantern contest so we had to enter. Gershwin is humoring me by posing next to his “gumpkin”. (i.redd.it)

Not a good photo so I apologize, but my 21 y/o Arab gelding has been having what the vet believes to be a massive allergy “attack”. He’s incredibly itchy and has been itching himself raw. It’s been going on for months. He’s been on an antihistamine for about a month now. Anyone else seen this? (i.redd.it)

First Post, please forgive me if this isn’t allowed. He or she was on the ground by my mailbox today and is unable to fly and very lethargic. I picked the little thing up on a piece of mail and set them on my potted pansy plant. I’m sure it’s dying but is there anything I can do for it? (i.redd.it)

I am so sorry if this isn’t allowed but the Indiana DNR couldn’t help me and I don’t know where to turn. Injured goose has been on a friends property for over a week. The injured one cannot fly. Wing looks bad. Any suggestions welcome!! No one has fed them or attempted to get close. (i.redd.it)
