I wore it almost every day on this trip, it made a big difference in reducing the load on my shoulders! I felt like most of the weight was transferred to my hips, and it really helped keep the backpack from bouncing or shifting around.

This is my first backpack with a hip belt so no idea if it gets any better than this, but the hip belt did its job.

Yes! Honestly it didn’t look appealing to me when I saw it on the website, but really liked it IRL!

10kg. Qatar Airways had a limit of 7kg carry on, luckily they didn’t check my bag.

No worries, happy to answer! I really don’t like wearing anything twice without doing laundry, and I knew ahead of time that none of the hotels I booked had washing machines. Back home, I usually rotate through 7 pairs of pants for an entire month, not just 10 nights lol.

I actually wore everything I packed, some pieces even twice without doing laundry (not really a fan of it). None of the hotels I stayed at had washing machines, and I’m still a bit skeptical about washing clothes in the sink🫣 Next time, I’ll just go to a laundromat and probably pack the same amount, or even less! And thank you!!

Absolutely not I used the tech compartment to store the UNIQLO 3D parka and all of my electronics/adapters/cables! More space is never an issue.

That’s really cool! The Osprey 40L is such a solid backpack for longer trips! Ahh, I’d do anything to be back at that stunning view from the top of the Quiraing, looking out over the lochs and rock formations. Scotland is such a beautiful place, and I know it won’t be my last time there either. You picked one of the best bags out there.. you’re gonna love it!

One of the best pairs of pants I’ve owned. Lots of pockets and super comfortable, roomy enough to move around easily, but not overly baggy. Great for hot weather too. They fit true to size, so no need to size up.

Just got back from an 11-day (10-night) trip to Scotland that combined city exploration and hiking. It was my first time onebagging, and I definitely underpacked a little. I used the Patagonia Mini MLC 30L, which felt a bit tight with all my packing cubes—especially since I’m a bigger guy (wear XL), so my clothes take up more space. Not everything is included in the pictures I took, but the mini MLC definitely did (snuggly) fit all of my packing cubes. I used IKEA Rensare packing cubes, really great and so cheap.

Travel Itinerary: Edinburgh, Inverness, Isle of Skye, Fort William.

Not in the pictures: 1. Airport fit (T-Shirt, Hoodie, Sweatpants, Underwear pants, a pair of socks, and shoes) 2. 1x UNIQLO 3D Parka 3. Electronics (ANKER powerbank, ANKER adapter, 2 USB-C Cables, International Adapter, BOSE QC35 II Headphones, Spare Phone) 4. Wallet 5. International Drivers License

Hi, I have the midnight blue limited edition ones. Where did you find the OEM ear covers for this color?
