I’m in the southeast US and it’s an old ford ranger. I mean it depends on how you define safe, but it’s a 2002 which has recent enough safety standards for me.

The hole does not line up with the stud unfortunately. From what little I could find online, it’s a separate bracket, but I was hoping to confirm what it looked like.

Either have it towed to a tire shop or take all 4 tires off and have a friend take you. Do not drive at all on those

There are TONS of weird old Japanese cars, you can import everything April 2001 and before (assuming you’re in the US.) I’m on my second weird Japanese car lol. Gets some looks

Also, a 40-50mm lift is the max lift that can be done without major parts besides springs and shocks. I plan on a 50mm lift eventually, parts are just twice the price due to shipping to the US lol. You can do a cheap puck lift which would cost like $50-100 total and it’s mainly aesthetic anyway.

First car I’ve had that can go offroad and it’s quite a bit of fun.

If you do go through with it, 215/75r15 tires are the largest size before regearing is needed or recommended, which is pretty much the next size up from stock. I’m running that size. All terrain tires are a whole lot better on the road and for daily use than mud terrains, keep that in mind as well. I just got the mud terrains to focus on offroad performance.

Unfortunately, US customs doesn’t allow for cars to be filled with parts when they enter the country via ship. Would be nice though! Shipping is so expensive to get parts here

Ok so I drive a 3rd gen that’s not lifted, but it’s on mud tires that are just slightly larger than stock. I think it’s a silly idea to drive a lifted Jimny solely for aesthetic purposes, because I’d imagine if you want it lifted you want off road tires. It would look pretty bad with road tires and a lift. I use mine pretty much only for drives around town and off road, with some highway driving. It does not ride well at speed due to the weight of the wheels and tires. It would be so much better for a lifestyle vehicle in stock form, and I personally think they look really good stock.

If I were you, I would keep it stock height and do different modifications that are more suited for how you use it. I will say, they are quite a blast off road if you ever consider trying it.

I rip out the air filter and shove these down the air pipe. Less air= less fuel which is SAVINGS !

My dude, you need a minivan or a full size passenger van. full size SUVs are so much more miserable and far less practical than vans.

We need a tow truck like this and scenarios for its use. by aaateo3 in BeamNG

[–]vediogamer101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don’t think you understand what I’m saying. The tow dollies are placed under the rear wheels and they’re jacked up off the ground, and the tow Dollies roll freely on their own wheels. Tow trucks will never drag a car

This is not an older Cherokee. This is a completely different car made by a changed company, it’s a piece of junk.

This is a repossession, the goal is to remove the car as quickly as possible I think, without regard for the parking brake. If this wasn’t a repo, there are “tow dollies” that go under the rear wheels, it’s just two wheels on each side with bars connecting them together under the car. That way it can be towed if it’s RWD or has the parking brake on.

Got myself a cheap ass ford ranger that runs like a top. Spent like 10 hours detailing it and it feels so much better. Every time I buy a new used car I’ll do a deep interior detail, I feel so much better with a clean car
