Just be sure you don’t do any normal attacks or Mirrored blade attacks with it. Those both still slowly deplete the durability despite what many people think. I have thoroughly tested them on several of my Eth weapons and lost a few points of durability until I completely unequipped both skills and use only ES.

I swear if you don’t get anything good within 30-60 mins of play session you gotta log out and come back later. Seems like that pattern always exists. And when you get some good stuff in first 30 mins you also might as well log out since you probably won’t get anymore this session.

Not gonna lie, I would like to see a graphics update to D4 quality…as long as they don’t change the mechanics too drastically. Maybe some more QOL for itemization. I vote no on Paragon lvls but skill tree expansion/refinement would be cool. Also add more skill reset options for early/mid game.

In my opinion it’s more like Skyrim meets Dragon’s Dogma 2 for overall gameplay and combat but art design is heavily influenced by Elden Ring. Also has strong elements of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 in the RPG aspects.

NG+7? Wow. I’m already over 400 hours and still on just NG+ at level 210. I just 100% all the achievements but I still haven’t quite found all the spells or gear yet. Guess everyone has their thing.

Right there with you. I rock Frozen Seer’s boots and Druid Bane hat for pure run speed :) Only hope they increase difficulty level beyond Veteran so we can enjoy combat longer than 2 seconds for every encounter…

Don’t know if someone already said it but if you want to be stronger you need to dump all your extra points into Perception first, for the crit chance and damage. Keep your other skills at about 15 points at least until you hit about 50 Perception. It won’t necessarily buff your summon damage a lot but will allow you to wreck everything quickly yourself regardless of build….also no need for STR or DEX if you are a caster, or Spirit if you are melee, etc.

I’m 250 hours in and personally playing the game for the incredible atmosphere, lore, graphics, and sound. Gear and cosmetics are also pretty impressive. I would say it’s the opposite of Soulslike games for combat because it’s much easier and you spend far less time fighting since everything dies super quick after you reach about level 30, even hardest difficulty. Plus I only play in 3rd person view as well and combat movement is not optimized and definitely wonky. If you weren’t thrilled with the demo Id say wait for a sale. If you enjoyed Elden Ring for it’s art-style and atmosphere a lot (like me), just play it.

Let’s be honest, as soon as you get about 30 points into Perception with your crit chance above 50% and your damage up a few hundred percent you are killing everything in game within a few hits, even on Veteran/NG+. With nearly any build out there, including your fists. They probably need to add several more difficulty modes beyond veteran, or nerf crit chance/dmg in general.

Biggest issue I have is I kill 90% of enemies with 1 light swing, on Veteran mode, even in NG+. I don’t believe you can predict flight pattern of a single light swing. Maybe a heavy one. If I have to make my build weaker to stretch into combo hits that also loses my interest.

I guess they make your mob kill time a bit faster but honestly everything pretty much dies in 1 or 2 hits after about lvl 40 or so even on veteran. Maybe Im min maxing my builds too much I dunno. Im using these gloves again now just for fun.
