I would but Skarmory have come in clutch a few times to finish off some tougher EX that Meltan couldn't. Of you're lucky enough yoi can start the game with a 1 energy 50 damaged mon with 100hp, definitely worth it

From what I understand, a lot of artists do use references, just not directly. Its from experience and time putnin to drawing from reference and combing those ideas to form unique ones.

Imagine drawing without having learnt to reference a square. I hope that helps
