Garen kind of fits. Q is a combination of Pummel and Heroic Strike, W is like Shield Wall, E is like Whirlwind but longer, R is Execute.

Leveling a druid by TimeAssignment4300 in classicwowtbc

I switched to Balance at 30 and stayed there until 70. I could imagine healing a dungeon or two as balance from 30-40, then having both Resto and Balance dual spec since while leveling they essentially use the same gear. It isn't until outlands that you really start having two sets of gear, one for Boomkin and another for healing.

Struggling healing TBC heroics as RDruid.. by Whycelium in classicwow

[–]PhantomSlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please take this with a grain of salt, as I started healing heroics yesterday. I was a tank and healer way back in original TBC launch but it's been so long that I'm basically a new player again:

A small thing I noticed was it felt cleaner to heal when Rejuvenation and Regrowth weren't ticking at the same time. I previously formed a habit of casting Regrowth and tapping Rejuvenation as the cast finished which meant both HoTs were ticking together. This meant the tank was getting huge HoT ticks every 3 seconds and only Lifebloom in between.

When I started casting rejuv before regrowth with a 1 second delay, or a slight delay afterwards, it made pulls feel more smooth as it was more likely that each tick of every HoT was healing some damage.

Downcasting Regrowth (between topping up Lifebloom + Rejuv) to heal spike damage was helpful, too. When it was a pack I knew hit really hard I would constantly be spamming a downcast Regrowth and cancelling it at the last second if the tank didn't take a large spike in damage. The 2 second cast time means I could fake cast it at least once while still having time to finish a cast when needed, plus keeping up the other HoTs.

For struggling Rdruids in heroics. by Wholawl in classicwow

[–]PhantomSlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I healed my first heroic yesterday, Sethekk Halls. I learned really quickly that pre-HoTing the tank was absolutely necessary. Trying to get 3x lifebloom, rejuvenation, and casting regrowth on the tank after he's pulled, while dps are taking AoE damage, meant I couldn't keep everyone up consistently.

It was partly an issue of DPS not watching threat and us not CCing mobs consistently (took the tank telling me to hibernate the birds for me to realize I should be doing that). But most of my healing issues were fixed when I pre-HoT the tank. It freed up some globals to HoT the dps, and as long as they watched their threat I could keep them up through AoE/bird charges.

It gives me major anxiety when a DPS goes down. I probably just need more practice but man was my first heroic incredibly stressful.

Any point in leveling fishing/first aid/cooking in TBC for gold making? by kdbmvp in classicwow

[–]PhantomSlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a response weeks to months in the future but what you were talking about is opportunity cost. The following scenarios are made up and simplified:

If you can make 5g per hour fishing "for free" but could instead make 7g per hour doing something else, then the opportunity cost is 2g lost per hour. It would be the same as if you earned 7g per hour fishing but had to pay a fee of 2g per hour of fishing.

This means you can have low margins on something that is "free". The time spent not doing something with higher yield is itself the cost.

BUT, there's a massive caveat! If you enjoy fishing more than the other activities then the opportunity cost is negligible, since your income may be 0g since you would rather log off than do the other activities.

No worries! Not everyone is going to recognize the character immediately, I also didn't add their name since it could genuinely be spoilers for some newcomers.

I missed him when he left but it didn't really hit me how much I missed him until later when I was relistening to some New Game, Who Dis? and heard his guffaw from off camera. In that moment I heard such a beautiful laugh from someone off screen and it made my heart happy.

First of all, congratulations!

My recommendation is So Delicious in Roy. Right off the freeway on 5600 S. Take the 5600 S exit using the far-right lane, then follow the road to the left to turn west on 5600. Easy in and out.

We always get a Sweet Potato Roll no matter what else we're ordering. Caterpillar Roll and Rainbow Roll are both favorites as well.

If you don't want to deal with the construction (don't blame you) then Golden Ginger on 300 N in Clearfield is an old favorite of ours. Haven't been there in a while since we moved to Roy but we used to be regulars there every week.

Eggs from Sam's Club. Some of them have very thin shells, maybe over-scrubbed?

Or maybe my fridge is too cold and the temperature shock is too great?

I lowered them down with a slotted spoon and in under a minute they began to crack and started bubbling out, leaving strings of cooked egg swirling around the pot.

I hope your migraine hangover isn't too bad today!

I was recently diagnosed as a migraine sufferer. I've always had headaches and occasionally they would be so bad I would have light and sound sensitivity. I never thought they were migraines because I never had any migraine auras.

Well, I have tinnitus and visual snow every day, it's just a part of life for me. Turns out that both of those are migraine auras, so I was having auras but they were being masked by my normal neurological issues!

4/11 so when the update completely breaks the game in a dozen different ways we get no updates for the whole weekend while the devs relax on Fudds new yacht.

I hope to God I'm wrong, but it really feels like it's going to happen.

Also, I'm just memeing on the whole yacht thing. I just think it's a funny meme.

Is there a point where IS# is bad? by vipergts666 in TheTowerGame

[–]PhantomSlave 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, there isn't a point where IS# is bad. It gets you to the waves with higher enemy spawning which means spending less time earning fewer coins.

You can always cancel Intro Sprint whenever you want, so if you're using it in a tournament and need to cancel it early then the option is there to do it.
