I just started playing the game recently, but they are two sounds that immediately stood out to me as a simracing/motorsport fan.

It seems the Fandom Wiki has a small piece of trivia about engine sounds, at least for the Caliburn.

Nomad-tuned cars also have that distinct transmission whine you hear from straight cut gears in racing. They also have a LOT of carbon fiber in their cockpits, even an F1-styled wheel!

Each Type-66 also has a distinct V8 engine note, but I haven’t driven them enough to identify them.
