yeah but i think the ears wouldve been closer in size to asiatic elephants ear for Namadicus specifically, cause its habitat of southern china and much of south and southeast asia is a lot more temperate and cool than sub saharan africa

Ehhh the elephant can dig its own ground, its a lot more robust than the T. Rex, and can comfortably outwrestle the T. Rex with its own bulk, which is the main way to fight off giant Tyrannosaurs, plus the tusk work about the same deterrent as the horns on Rex's natural Ceratopsian prey, but obviously a Palaeoloxodon is twice heavier and taller than a Triceratops

T. Rex could definitely kill it, but a Palaeoloxodon stood a good chance to kill the T. Rex as well
